Despite my reservations, I'm going to post something.
Guys, chill out. Boris comments are criticism, not insults. "Love it or leave it" is not a valid principle in any situation. When George Bush said it, countless countries around the world said to themselves, "Wait, so now we can't disagree with a US position on X without them invading us?". The same is true here. True love of something, means you criticize it to it's core, not follow blindly cheering for every error. Please understand that criticism comes from a different place than "hatred".
For those debating the "Gamers bashing" that we've mentioned, you need to go back a while to see it. It was heaviest in the first 2 years of bloomilk, before there were mods at all. When the mods started, it took them a while to deal with it, but they did eventually take care of it. Now we still see the odd comment here or there, but nothing problematic like was being said a year ago. (Which in case you are wondering, there were plenty of things said that would be considered libel in a court of law, and enough that Dean would have had a nice court case against bloomilk had he wanted to). This has changed. So if you are looking for it now, you really aren't going to see it.
And most of the recent discussion about bloo was centered around a user who shouldn't have been posting (as it turned out it was related to some glitch and other factors). I also want to add the following. One of the reasons you all have mods (that the bloo crowd has been touting as proof of Shinja's greatness) was because people like Boris, Dean, Sithborg, myself and others from this community as well pushed Shinja to appoint them. For months we told him, in PMs, on Skype, on Vassal, etc that his forum needed mods. Eventually he too saw the need and appointed some. That's what good criticism does, it makes the site better.
People running around saying "Love it or leave it" aren't helping the site become better. They are cheerleaders. And I want you to understand something. Unless you are prepared to argue that bloomilk is perfect, and that no one would ever feel negative things on this forum, you need to lay off it. Because imagine for a second you are someone who is new, and you are looking around, but something (whatever it is) starts to bug you. You are nearly ready to ask why it is, or make a suggestion and you read this thread, with a mod telling you to "Love it or leave it". I bet you can guess which one this player will take.
I recognize that Jak has a right to post what he wants as a user. He has a different role as a mod, but he's never understood that anyways, so It's not really my point here. The point is, the attitude isn't helpful to anyone. It's a way to start a war. It's a patriotic rallying cry that sets up clear boundaries of who the enemy is, not one that understands the nuances of reality where someone is a member of both sites, and where someone wants the best for both sites. It's insulting, and it's mean. So have a little more tact in posting, and leave the "love it or leave it" crap out of it.

In the past there were some negative things said about SWM Gamers on these forums, so when members who feel strongly about that site come to these forums, they can be (understandably) in a defensive mode. But don't let their strong reactions here affect your image of SWM Gamers. I recommend everybody go check out the site. http://swmgamers.com/Their forums are a much more polished experience than Bloo Milk's. And they have way more of them, for every SWM topic you can think of, and then some. There are also more (and better) articles than the ones here. There's a chat room. You can start a blog. There are a bunch of SWM-related downloads. A Hall of Fame. It's a good site. And everyone can be members of both sites, if they want. There's no rule that have to pick one or the other. There's no line drawn. You can go there for some things, and come here for some things. Unfortunately, the relationship between Bloo Milk and SWM Gamers has been frought with misunderstandings and miscommunications from the beginning. That's a problem I want to fix in the near future. But I think this thread has strayed pretty far from the original topic, so I'm locking it now.
