Love Teebo. Really works well with the established ewok foundation that Golden One has set. Want to try running him with Han Solo, Rebel Hero. The Ewok Scouts who have cunning will be much easier to grant advantageous attack now, giving extra damage. Also works great with Ewok Chieftain, who was really hard to set up without access to mice/booming.
Thanks for taking care of we few ewok fans!

Shapeshifter [If this character does not have line of sight to an enemy at the end of its turn, it can't be targeted by nonadjacent enemies until the start of its next turn]
The few Clawdites who left their home world most often took advantage of their natural abilities to join militaristic professions, such as spying, assassination, and bounty hunting.

Shapeshifter is so cool.
I don't know how much play it'll see at 18 points, but it's certainly an option as a gambit piece and a swap piece.

I wonder if that is what it says on the card. If that is what the card says (and it hasn't received an errata), that would be a strange bonus if you just happen to run into an opposing Dessel and get to benefit from his CE with one of your Gloom Walkers. I feel like this was addressed recently (or at least mentioned) I can't remember what was said though I'll have to see if I can find what I'm thinking about. Are you guys joking? There are a lot of similar CE's and SA's. I remember, a long time ago, somebody saying "Hand of the Emperor" allowed them to use the opposing players Palpatine's Force Points. They were corrected, in that only if he was on your squad, could you spend those FP's.

Hand of the Emperor's glossary entry states that it must be a person in the squad. That may have been updated after the fact, though.
Usually, CEs reference "ally" or "follower" (where follower means it must be in your squad). Very few abilities reference a whole class of characters without those qualifiers. For CEs I think these are the only 3:
Star Destroyer Officer Aric Jorgan Dessel

Hmmm....was thinking of "followers". But still, I think I'd slap someone who wanted to use my Dessel for their Gloom Walkers.(and I'd expect the slap if it were reversed)

Add the Snowtrooper Officer also: "Imperial commanders gain Pathfinder."

I don't remember any discussion about these things. My guess is there is an errata or it's just ruled to only be allies.
I would think commanders implies it had to be in your squad because I know follower does.

"Follower" (after checking the glossary ) says "in your squad" . "Commander" doesn't.

The safest interpretation to follow is that commander effects don't affect enemy characters unless they specifically say so.
That said, for clarity's sake they should always state 'allies', 'in your squad" or some such wording construct, since CEs don't have glossary definitions.

Slightly off topic but will the BHC cards from last Gencon be printed in this set (Old Ben and Vader?)

Vote of No Confidence [Each time an ally is defeated, this character must attempt a save of 6. On a failure, he loses Negotiation]
Commander Effect During setup, choose 2 Republic allies with a Force rating who cost less than 50. Characters with Ambush, Backlash, or It's a Trap! can ignore this ability for the purpose of attacking this character.].

That is an awesome-looking piece! If only Critdu and GOWK were eligible for his Commander Effect

Yeah, we didn't want you to be able to use some sit-in-the-back commander to take advantage of Negotiation.
