I must say, I am really loving how the set is shaping up. A lot of "anti" abilities. You have Jedi Hunters galore, a cloaked Jedi, some anti Non-unique ability, and a bunch of anti Unique stuff. I really am excited to see the Bounty Hunters.

On Dispassionate Killer, does the opponent get points if you fail the save?

Yes. Whenever your figure is defeated, even if it is by your own hand, the opponent(s) get the points.

One of the catalogs had January 19, 2010 as the release date - but I do not believe it has been absolutely confirmed.

The release date, as I was told by Jim, is the 26th.

I've heard they are going to change the name of the expansion to "Dork Times", to appeal to their main demographic.

Meh, I think GAW was put up a little late too. As long as something goes up when the previews do, I wouldn't worry.

Not lovin' Dass Jennir at all. Being with the 'Pubs is always sweet, but he is pretty much dependant on using Dispassionate Killer to do more than a pitiful 40 damage in one round, and he risks dying doing so. I'd play him were he somewhere in the 20s in cost, but not for 32.

He's not spectacular, but remember that he has access to many of the best commander effects in the game. As a non-Melee double attacker with 10 damage, he can benefit from the CzerkSci, giving him Double-Twin (so, up to 40 damage at range, or 80 damage to adjacent). Add in Han RH, and he's doing +10 on each attack. Throw in Dispassionate Killer and you're up to 4 attacks at up to 50 each. Sure, he might go down, but he'll go down in a blaze of glory.

Not to mention he has access to Admiral Yularen's commander effect (Opp 10) and Anakin's (Momentum). I'd say he has a ton of options that could make him well worth the points.
