Not many play reports recently, so I thought I'd share my two games from the weekend.
First game:
--March of Death (w/Shada)--
72 Darth Malgus, The False Emperor
42 Lomi Plo
28 Shada D'ukal
27 Darth Bandon
27 Lobot
3 Ugnaught Demolitionist
Preferred Reinforcements:
(Lobot) 12 Klatooinian Assassin
(Lobot) 8 R7
(199pts. 8 activations)
http://www.bloomilk.com/Squad/134866/march-of-death--w-shada-Played against a Sith squad:
--Sith Leviathan--
60 Leviathan
47 Jango Fett, Assassin
26 Khem Val
24 Rohlan Dyre
20 DRK-1 Dark Eye Probe Droid
16 Gloom Walker
7 Bespin Security Guard
(200pts. 7 activations)
Opponent was a relatively new player who made the squad on the spur of the moment. Not a lot of synergy and no door control, but pretty good stand-alone pieces for not having synergy. We played on Remote Listening Post (I was outside), and Malgus was able to use FYD to force Rohlan Dyre to march to his death. When the Leviathan came in, door control locked out the rest of his squad while Lomi Plo and Malgus pummeled it to death. The Leviathan cleared out all the fodder and got one hit on Lomi Plo, but there was enough left for Malgus to force Jango to march in to be pummeled as well. In the end, the door control and the map (with good lanes for the march of death) was enough for the win.

Second game.
I played:
--Biggs Darklighter Can't Miss--
28 Dash Rendar, Renegade Smuggler
26 Biggs Darklighter, Rebel Pilot
26 Tycho Celchu
21 Jon "Dutch" Vander
57 Red Squadron Ace x3
15 Luke Skywalker, Farmboy
10 Jagged Fel
9 General Dodonna
8 R7 Astromech Droid
(200pts. 11 activations)
http://www.bloomilk.com/Squad/132956/biggs-darklighter-cant-missOpponent played the GenCon 2nd place squad:
--The Thon Song--
64 Master Thon
36 Atton "Jaq" Rand
33 Bastila Shan, Jedi Master
29 Carth Onasi, Old Republic Soldier
18 Klatooinian Captain
14 Old Republic Senator
3 Mouse Droid
3 Ugnaught Demolitionist
(200pts. 8 activations)
http://www.bloomilk.com/Squad/128393/the-thon-songWe played on Smuggler's Base. I started on the right. We engaged in the street. He left some pieces vulnerable, and lost the Klat Capt early. That let me take out Carth and Jaq, sacrificing Biggs in the process. After that it just took some doing to whittle down Thon and Bastila. He got off a great Repulse with Thon, hitting all 3 Aces and Jag, but they were all still hanging onto life. In the end, he only took out Biggs and one commander (I think Tycho), but did leave a bunch of other characters at 10hp.
