Talon Karrde, Information Broker has 2 abilities that seem to neuter squads built around Valenthyne Farfalla. I'm not sure which effects work on him, however.

A) Does Disruptive remove Army of Light from characters brought in through Valenthyne's reinforcements?

His CE says that they "gain Army of Light for the rest of the skirmish."

B) Does Ysalamiri remove the +10 damage from Advanced Battle Meditation?

Ysalamiri: "Characters within 6 squares cannot spend Force points. This character and characters within 6 squares gain Force Immunity."

Force Immunity: "Other characters cannot spend Force points to affect this character, to reroll attacks against it, or to respond to its attacks and abilities. This character does not count for purposes of Force powers that affect multiple characters, such as Force Lightning or Shockwave--select a different character instead."

Characters on Farfalla's squad would not get the +10 damage from ABM against any enemies within 6 of Talon Karrde, and Karrde's allies in the Ysalamiri bubble would still benefit from his CE.

However, I don't think the Disruptive would affect Farfalla's CE, because it specifically states that the ability is gained for the rest of the skirmish. I could be wrong about that one, though.

disruptive would not effect this commander effect. The example of this in the Past was the ROTS Emperor Palpatine, Sith Lord. Something that is brought in at the beginning of the Skirmish would not be able to be disrupted. The same would go for Pelleon.

Another exception to Disruptive effects is Activation control. With activation control it cannot be disrupted unless the commander is disrupted.

Ysalamiri bubble would only stop ABM for Farfalla's allies in the bubble, it would have no effect on those outside the Ysalamiri's influence.
