Marn can bring In fringe characters with bribery and they gain con artist. Quote: During setup, after seeing your opponent's squad, you may choose one enemy commander effect. This character is now subject to that commander effect regardless of restrictions. This effect lasts until the chosen commander is defeated.
So my Question is this if marn were to bring in any droids damage 0 or not would they gain access to an enemies commander effect? By the wording they ignore any restrictions.

No. Mouse Droids will never shoot. That's pretty much the one overriding rule in Star Wars Miniatures.
"Regardless of restrictions" is formally defined somewhere, but I don't have the link to it off hand.

Flying Arrow is correct. The regardless of restrictions refers to restrictions in the CE itself, not blanket restrictions on who is eligible to receive CEs. The same would be true of Savage characters, if Marn brought one in.
Also, only LIVING characters brought in by Marn's Bribery get Con Artist, so it wouldn't be possible for Mouse Droids to get it, anyway.

Droids are not subject to commander effects, Con artist doesn't get around that.

Fair Enough i didn't catch that part. Even without that realization though we were guessing that ignoring restrictions applied only to the commander effect. I just had to ask.
thanks.
