okay say you have a character with flurry attack and lightsaber throw (or any other Replaces attacks abilities that give you a ranged option that generates attacks)
now you score a critical hit. What happens?
Does the extra attack have to be against a 1st target?
Or do you essentially remake the Lightsaber Throw/ Blaster 20 attack?
or are you only limited to make an extra attack against an adjacent enemy. Assuming you have Melee attack and that you could target a character farther away even though an enemy was adjacent, say like you have an adjacent diplomat who you couldn't target before but now you may be able too. (say you killed the only other target within sight and now you can Flurry the Diplomat)

No. Flurry attacks do not have to be against the same target.

There is nothing in Flurry Attack that gets around the Melee Attack restriction, and there is nothing in Lightsaber Throw/Blaster 20 that lets you make additional attacks beyond the ones initially granted.

This seems to be the case, in which case the attack is likely wasted.

If a Diplomat is adjacent to you and no one else is, you have no legal target if another enemy is within line of sight. So you could not have targeted anyone. (When Diplomat is in effect, they do not count as the nearest enemy but they still count as adjacent.)

The only way I see this working would be if you are using LS Throw against an adjacent enemy. This can be useful because it turns a Melee Attack into a non-melee attack. So you can get around the enemy's Parry, for example. Then if you get a Flurry Attack, you can then attack with a normal Melee Attack (against that enemy or any other adjacent enemy).

(Note that I could be wrong.)

Everything was as I thought, except about the diplomat. Now I know to mess up an enemies extra attacks with a Diplomat. Razz
