No. The "official" release date and therefore the date at which everything is legal is the Monday after GenCon.

Out of curiosity, what would you have played in the championship if you were able to?

I guess one of the actual designers on the set should be the one to give the OK on spoiling pieces.

I got mine today also! I wasn't expecting them for another week or 2. Some really good pieces here in this set! (no Daala counters just for your info)

My favorites are the Chewie (thats the full name) that Ricky designed for the rebels, pretty decent attacker with lots of cool special abilities! Pilot ect. Really cool in my opinion, plus he has a built in movement breaker called Walking Carpet! Hilarious!

the new Xizor is also really cool (I play tested him and I feel they did him justice and that he is really cool) Good with Talon Karrde too. Great Commander/ Fighter

I like the new Sith force Spirit Freedon Nadd which has Force Renewe and Dark master for 11 points! Not to mention he has Dark Spirit like Exar's force spirit (give an ally Renewal 1 and Sith Rage) and another trick up his sleave.

Either way she is awesome for any faction! The new Zam at a lower point cost with door control and very mobile. Anti Stealth and has great potential with the Mandos and the CIS. (with the Cad Bane)

I play tested this guy and let me tell you he is a vast improvement over the original, in terms of fighting ability, like Leaps and bounds better! (pun intended)
I thought they should have made him slightly more unique (like having an SA that ignores all damage reducing SA's to represent how he could cut through Baskar'gam) and maybe have a slightly better CE but he is awesome nonetheless!
