Games I could bring:
--Marvel: Legendary (cooperative deck-building card game where you play as X-Men or Avengers, etc against Apocalypse or Magneto, etc. Up to 5 players) --Super Dungeon Explore (think 1980s arcade Gauntlet, but as a boardgame; cooperative and fun game where heroes work together to kick monster tail. Up to 5 players) --Munchkin (base game, plus the first 2 expansions) (funny card game with a RPG theme, where you kill the monsters, steal their stuff, and stab your friends in the back. Many players.) --Dungeon Command (think SWM, but using cards instead of dice...that's right, NO DICE! 1-inch grid, very fast pace. Up to 4 players) --Twilight Imperium (just kidding...it takes 8+ hours to play, and you need a Ph.D. to learn it) --Warlords of Europe (conquest of Europe, better than Risk, Shogun, A&A in every way, 3-4 hrs. Up to 4 players) --Puerto Rico (euro-game about resource management and VP-gathering, lots of fun. Up to 5 players) --Small World (fast-paced fantasy game of world domination, where you get to play multiple races over the course of the game. I own all the expansions. Up to 6 players, I think)
Please speak up if you'd like me to bring a certain game. For space and carrying reasons I obviously won't be bringing them all, so I'd love to know if there are any of these that any of you would be especially interested in.
I know that Echo has already mentioned interest in Marvel: Legendary, so I'll bring that.

I actually won't be at GenCon this year ( ), so don't bring it just for me. It is a great game, though, so bring it for others to play! And last time I played Twilight Imperium we cranked out a 4-player game in 6 hours!

Is anyone going to bring the new fantasy flight "Age of Rebellion" role playing game? Or any Star Wars RPG for that matter? I have never played a RPG and would love to learn!

Tint, there's ALWAYS room in my car for Puerto Rico. I actually have a copy that's never been played, and it's been years since I've seen it on the table...love the game.
Games I could bring:
DC Deckbuilding game
Are you the Werewolf?
Ticket to Ride (Europe)
Dominion
Pirate's Cove
Walking Dead Risk
And of course, the aforementioned Puerto Rico to save Tint the trouble of packing it.

LOL I did that wrong. Anyway, Walking Dead Risk is AWESOME, and it's not an open ended long game that Risk can sometimes be. I've played it once while learning the rules and finished it in 2 hours.

you know, easy stuff.... Eclipse sounds interesting to me. I have it on my iPad, but pretty much any game is better in-person. I think my main difficulty on Wednesday night is that I won't have enough time to play all the games I'd love to play! [And that's a good problem; it prevents boredom, which is a capital offense at Gencon]

Kinda bummed that the Championship is bright and early on Thursday. It takes a bit away from the Wed night revelry.

[And that's a good problem; it prevents boredom, which is a capital offense at Gencon] Eclipse is fantastic, probably my overall favorite game in the 4X genre. It's as well designed as Twilight Imperium (although it does different things better), but it only takes about 45 minutes per player for new players, 30 minutes per player for experienced players. It still might be a little heavy for Wednesday night at GenCon, but it's definitely quicker than TI.

I can bring small world if that helps free up room in someone else's ride. It is pretty easy for me to put the entire game shelf in the f150 if need be. I looked at Warlords of Europe a year or so back at GenCon and would love to play it as well.
A few others that I threw in my bag that are card games. -Edition Wars - Compete to have the best gaming group. Made by friends of Chris West -Wench - basically a drinking game -Kill the Hippies- Play Religious Fundamentalist (Fundies) trying to kill or convert hippies. Converted hippies are worth twice as much as killed hippies. The most religious person goes first.
Eclipse is fun and I have played it a couple of times, but not all the way through.

All kinds of analysis paralysis happens. I have the potential for 9 player game which would probably be an all-nighter I wouldn't expect it to be played Wednesday night but i'll have it with me. I havn't played twilight imperium but I've heard they are similar in scope.

The largest game of Eclipse I've played was 7 players, and it took a few hours (3-4) with 4 new players and 3 vets. Twilight Imperium is definitely longer; a 6 player game easily hitting 6-8 hours. Players probe to AP can slow either game down significantly, but I've never played anything as long as TI (maybe the WoW boardgame, which was way too long for only being an okay game).
I can crank out a 4 player game of Eclipse with experienced players in 2 hours fairly easily.
