Self explanatory poll - I was only allowed 9 choices, so I omitted Mandos, who have generally been the weakest faction through Regional season, but feel free to put a write-in vote for them.
I'm backing Republic - seems like good conditions for Yobuck to thrive, and Naboo Troopers are good too.

Anyone have a count on Good vs Evil as far as who have won Con Championships? How about a breakdown of the history of Champion factions since 2004? How about a breakdown of before and after the V-Sets?

I only remember as far back as 2009, but since then: 2009- Rebels with Han Smuggler, Princess Leia, ERCs 2010- Rebels with Han Smuggler, Princess Leia, ERCs 2011- OR with Bastila, JBMs 2012- Republic with Mace, GOWK, Rex 2013- NR with Luke GH, Jarael, Marn So it's been good guys all day every day it seems. I think Rebels won in 2008 also.

2006 - Imperials (B&B - Engineer)
2007 - republic (Towed Boba + JWMs - Dr Divot)

I don't even think Bill makes top 8. Since Nader and I are both playing other games who is going to win with the Republic?
Sorry but Bill has not played much in almost a year and that has to play into it. If He can win his first few games and get that rust off than yeah I can see him making top 8.
@Echo really you are a Elite player and don't know the past Gencon Squads really that pisses me off.

The fact that Footloose was remade. The billions of dollars invested in technology and still no hoverboard has been invented, or time travel for that matter. St. Anger. I could go on all day. Those are all quality things to be pissed at. But perhaps the best reason to be pissed off. Your are right. It's because Echo did not know gencon champion squads past himself and the man he ripped off, who won the year before. That should just piss everyone off. blasted him. blasted him that he did not know that Rebels won Gencon in 2008 with a Snowspeeder, and that in 2007, Republic won with Boba Fett. I know this because I was there in 07, and 08. So there you have it, only good guy factions have won the whole thing. Johnny I picture you as that guy who guilt tripped a really popular guy into being friends with you so no one wants to step on your toes. But deep down everyone wants to kick you in the nuts. Or like the kid in Game of Thrones that breast fed until he was 10. Stop being so anal about everything. Nut up. Quick Edit: New thing to be pissed at. You never forget how to ride a bike, and IMHO Bill is the best SWM player in the history of the game (certainly one of the best). He's the only person to make the Championship Top 8 every year that he's competed. He's also a master with Skybuck. So I wouldn't count him out...not at all.
