Just curious what players favorite huges to play with before v-sets came out? Mine top 5 would be 1-AT-ST 2- X1-Viper Droid 3- Young Krayt Dragon 4- Utapaun on Dactillion 5- Commerce Guild Homing Spider Droid

Obviously Luke's Snowspeeder is the top dog of pre v-set Huges that got the most play.
Although I played against that squad many times, I never ran it myself. I've had awesome games with; Basilisk War Droid, X-1 Viper Droid, Young Krayt Dragon, and Felucian Warrior on Rancor.

However, the pre v-set Huge that I spent the most table time with would be Droid Starfighter in Walking Mode.
I used to love pawning the starfighter with Darth Sideous to get of the 8 attacks for 160 damage.
My most memorable game with that squad a guy ran Boba BH out guns blazing and left him out in the open thinking I couldn't hurt him. He wasn't too pleased when my starfighter cannon blasted Boba BH to bacon bits.

Good pieces. Oh yeay the Starfighter/Sideous Combo is also brutal! I didn't get Luke's Snowspeeder for awhile so wasn't able to use it myself though, unfortunately!

I had a fun Snowspeeder squad that was force pointed up, had mettle and renewal and Leia's CE to come back from death. Called it never ending Snowspeeder and had a blast. Also really enjoyed the X-1 Viper droid/Tank droid with Grievous DAC. And of course going way back: Sideous and the hailfire combo

Hmmm, a great question!
Desert Skiff,
Rancor, (I got it in the same booster as Luke Jedi Master and Vader from Universe at Xmas time! good times). That thing was overpowered back when few pieces had regeneration!
Huge Crab Droid (if only for the crabs pun), BigGrin
X1 Viper (reflect and damage sponge while crit-immune SBDs sneak up the flank),
Rebel Troop Cart.
The Homing Spider Droid deserves an honorable mention too, less so for that under-scaled droid fighter figure - it was so bendy and tiny.
The Uggernaut and the arena beasts also get honorable mentions.

I liked the Fel-cor, ad at-st, but when I play huge pieces my opponents focus
on them first and I get very little play with them.
1st time I ran the Uggernaught w/Veer's AS CE, was a awesome.shoot 'em all let god some 'em out!

X-1 Vipers are fun, with GGDAC, 2x twin for 30?!. to bad they didn't have flight.
in their comic book premier, they did. wicked .

Dactillion was actually pretty good back in the day. But my original favourites were the Hailfire/Sideous combo and X-1/GGDAC combo.

Loved Luke's Snowspeeder. Original Obi-Wan + Han in Stormtrooper Armor + Luke's Snowspeeder was a favorite of mine.
