I've decided due to the fact that I've got so many other projects in the works, that instead of releasing map pack six in one big set, I'm going to stagger the 4maps throughout the year. This one is going to get released in early March along with its flipside, which is going to be the first part in a four-part connectable giant map. If you're interested in getting a copy of this map,i'm going to start taking preorders for it now. There are a few of you that have been buying my maps for the last seven years know the drill. This map is going to sell for $10. And $15 for all overseas. You can send payment via PayPal to jedicartographer@yahoo.comIf you're interested in getting a bulk order for your playgroup, I will work with you. If you want 10 maps, I'll sell them for 85. I've often used kick starter in the past for these, but I've got a little money stashed away so the preorders will help me offset the money that I've already saved. This map is happening, you have my guarantee that if you give me the payment you will get a map. I think most of you know me well enough that I am good for it the first map release will be The Vault/Smugglers Moon #1

A few notes about the map.
This map was inspired by the vault in the novel Fatal Alliance. The vault was in a Hutt palace, and the Hutt hosted an auction for a rare artifact. Naturally, the bidders tried to steal the artifact, leading to a battle in the vault and the antechamber. This map is set up to host just such an auction. There are rooms and a lounge to host the VIP bidders, and there's a large reception area to wait in until the bidding starts. Bidders enter the antechamber, where items are brought out from the vault just for the auction.
The doors at the left edge of the map line up with doors on the Gangster's Palace map to create a very long Hutt Palace. Other hallways could also be linked to the Gangster's Palace map instead, although with those other links the map edges wouldn't quite line up.
The Hutt statue, dirty floors, and color scheme all indicate a Hutt Palace, but it's not over the top, so it's generic enough that it wouldn't have to be used that way. This could be anyone's vault - any criminal, or a casino. Even a bank, but that's a bit of stretch with the lounge and guest rooms present. In fact, it wouldn't be out of place as a vault in a modern era game.
For standard skirmishes, one of the main goals was to have multiple approaches for both sides. The left can approach in the Security Suite, north or south part of the Reception Area, or through the conference room. The right side has the center door, Vault Office, north hallway, Lounge, and Conference room. Depending on the approaches, there are 5 possible points of engagement along the center line (assuming neither side holds back): the lounge, hallway, Vault Office, center door, or Conference Room.
Another goal was to make it relatively easy to go around "the other way". If you're blocked off, in many cases you can get on the other side of your enemy in just a turn. Running around the Reception Area, moving between the doors of the Vault Office or the Guest Lounge, moving up and down the stairs in the Antechamber.
Beyond that, we tried to cover the standard guidelines for any map: Relatively safe spots for commanders. Strafe-safe areas. Not too many doors, but not too wide open. Both sides have a safe gambit square, but they're close enough that a standoff is unlikely.
Hope you like it! I'm really happy with the way it turned out. As Matt indicated, not many orders so far. If enough orders come in quickly enough, and if this qualifies for the restricted list (both big IFs at this point), there's a chance this might be legal for this Regional season.

If you are on the fence now is a good time to order. If there aren't enough orders this weekend it may be put on the shelf for a while.

Payment sent for 5 maps. Please send sealed in plastic to prevent being ruined by rain & snow. Normally, I wait to order maps until weather conditions improve. (I had a bad experience ordering maps in the winter once before.) However, these maps look too cool to wait on. gonna make good prizes at our Indiana regional!
