I really enjoyed Johan Cross's stories. He's from Star Wars: Agent of the Empire. Basically, he's the imperial version of james bond.
I also really liked Marn "Gryph" Hierogryph, who is from the Knights of the Old Republic comics. He's like a con man/master of disguise. Very likable character too. A bit like Han Solo and Chewbacca rolled up into an ewok.

Cowboys in Space! As far as Star Wars goes, K'Kruhk definitely, that guy went survived every era. I really liked how Legacy tied in things like K'Kruhk, Tra'saa, R2, the Vong, A'Sharad Hett. Personally, I think the writers just didn't want to kill awesome characters.

Dark Horse did a great run with Star Wars, much better than the Marvel stuff in depth and breadth, where do I start? If only Neil Gaiman and Alan Moore took their take on the franchise, or Stan Lee... wait wait - Tezuka presents "Clone Wars" or Miyazaki presents Star Wars Reboot... i digress, back to dark horse, Fett Club in Wars Tales was the funniest, (no gungans, ever). Tag and Bink... But by far, how they treated Boba Fett (enemy of the empire) and Jango Fett (blood ties, open seasons) in the comics was GREAT! darth maul's background in Wars tales (which ended up being re-printed as a compendium) was neat. The jumbo comic of Star Wars: Dark Forces was awesome also, a great team up with Zann to bring the novels to life. the whole purge series was awesome - it took star wars to some dark places and fleshed out the horrors of the clone wars... by far, they saved the best for last - a whole run based on the original drafts for all Star Wars, The Star Wars. It was GREAT! The KOTOR comics were also great, made me want to play the games and wish that Vandar Tokare had more of a role. Good thing I've got a couple of each of the compendium editions/trade paperbacks. Was there ever lenticular covers/metal hardcover editions made by DarkHorse? Back to some tangents... has anyone read the recent Puruto (Pluto, sequel to Astroboy) or the Cowboy Bebop compendium edition (in large TPB format)? or the recent-ish Iranian arabesque style space comic (al-arahesh or something similar - its a bunch of flying saucer alternate history, sorta like Fallout/Wasteland/A Boy and His Dog).
