It's been a while since we all did something together.
I'm WAY behind on my maps, and truth be told, I havent even drawn out designs for an updated Felucia and Jedi Enclave yet.
Lets work on it together. Everybody has a say. I want there to be teamwork, group participation, passionate arguments, drama and dysfunction, just the way it was back in the day.
Guidelines.
Maps should be designed with the intention of being used in competetive play. Think about the issues of the day, and keep it in mind when we design the maps.
standard 22x34
The enclave, The only thing I really desire is that the center of the map be a small courtyard, a 2x2 Tree that would be treated as a wall will be in the center. THe tree would have beveled corners.
Felucia should be a small military facility nestled among some weird plants. The mushrooms should be treated as walls, 2x2 with beveled corners.
Don't just read this and dismiss it, get involved and have fun with it. We used to have projects like this all the time.

I am so in on this! You will have my rough floor plan of both tomorrow! But I have a bug firefighter written test tomorrow so sadly cannot sketch tonight! And sorry for late reply, the legends versus standard stuff hid this thread from view!

Lol, bro you are a champ. Keep at it. I'm not really one to help as I haven't played enough to know what works or not. All I keep hoping for is that someone will create a Kashyyyk beachhead map! I want to get all my wookiees into play!

My map making skills aren't the best, but shouldn't this be in the Customs area? I nearly missed this because of the continuing soap opera. I don't play more than 1-2 times a year and I'm staying out of that, but would cheerfully kibitz on a map.

Just finishing up some sketches right now, Felucia would be cool to design as an Imperial Felucia with a walkway suspended over a sarlacc but as that may be too much I think a more fenced in version would look great as a new map. Though giant suspended catwalk base. Just think of it... Hahaha
As for Jedi Enclave I assume you mean the KOTOR one?

Are you looking for locations? Geonosis Catacombs - Zobie Geonosian episodes from from the clone wars. Kuat drive yards factory floor could be interesting. Smashed up ATAT in a street could be cool. Thinking you could have the ATAT towards the middle providing a decent gambit area. Smashed up stuff around the end shops on the top and bottom. Geivious's Lair alos from the clone wars i always thought would be cool. Episodes where he kill Nadar Veeb (sp?)

Kezza, I really like the layout for that mandalorian camp. I feel like that should be the basis for the Felucian compound. Something similar to that. A central building, with a few out lying structures, and some weird plant life.
...The Prison map is an excellent layout as well!!
Les, I actually have designs for a few of thos locations. Maybe Map Pack 7!
Glad the wheels are starting to turn, if you all have any other designs or ideasm knock yourself out.
And the enclave is something based on KOTOR, yes.

Sketch sent via email, also I think graphic redesigns would be excellent, for current Felucia, converting the corner buildings into L-shaped buildings to allow for a safe commander base with walls and not doors facing across the map would be the best way to balance Felucia. Also I know a map style that hasn't really been done yet is a Beach or Road type map with a central horizontal axis going through gambit and then a built up heavy close quarters area one one half and a wide open area with no doors just obstacles blocking LOS for huges to have free reign and move about. Similar to peninsula maps but with the gambit area being pushed back into the building and the test of the map being more open and wide enough in places for easy movement yet with 2x2, 3x2, and 3x3 objects scattered and blocking LOS while still allowing huges to move and fight in between.
