What if you want to play, but know you might not be able to commit fully. as in my wife is giving birth in three weeks and I might not be available fully because that is out fourth child, yadda yadda

That's fine, the last campaign we had a few people who couldn't play every game, it's no bug deal. But gaming what you can helps, the more numbers we get the better. Do you have an opponent in your area or online?

I have two questions, but neither of them are serious, so I decided to post them here:
1) Can the Rebels have Captain Rex since he shows up in Star Wars Rebels?
2) Since the map for Dxun is called 'Dxun Mandalorian Camp,' can the entire Mandalorian faction be a fringe benefit for whoever wins that battle?

Hahaha those are awesome but horribly broken ideas. Also separatists get all of the Sith ghosts because of Sideous's Holocron collection and the imperial versions of the emperor. Unfortunately until Rebel Rex comes out we have to keep faction rules for balance. But I like where your head is at
