The actual miniature is pretty expensive. How highly do you folks recommend having it? I have RS Fett only, right now.

Print the stats and proxy your mini for whichever Boba you want to use.

If you don't want to use proxies for WOTC pieces, I'd hold off a bit on getting him. Instead, the first Boba to get should be Enforcer or Mercenary as they are a lot more utilitarian. The V-Set Boba is also an excellent choice.

Also, Boba, BH tends to create a lot of NPEs (Negative Play Experience) for newer players, namely due to the Disintegration ability. Those of use who were active on the WotC boards back when they were a thing can remember all the topics and posts calling Boba BH broken, OP, and needing to be banned (Typically because in one game he managed to disintegrate the main opposing piece on the first turn), while the competitive players argued the opposite, saying that while he was a top tier piece, he was not the end-all, be-all unit and didn't warrant a ban.

Consequently, newer and less experienced players used Boba, BH as a crutch, as he could be wielded like a cudgel, simply smashing into teams of other players at that level, team composition and strategy be blasteded, and still win. They'd also rather be on the dealing side of a lucky disintegration instead of the receiving, further increasing the reliance on Boba. Of course, when they went up against a person who knew positioning and how to handle Boba, they tended to collapse like a house of cards.

So, he (as well as General Obi-Wan Kenobi) are not good pieces to introduce to a new player/gaming group until they've gotten the basics of strategy and team composition down pat.
