One thing I enjoy about SW Minis is the squad building and conversations about squad building. So what I'm going to do is give a squad base and then y'all can submit your best finished products. Without further delay, here is week ones.
--Mando out act-- 28 Kelborn 27 Lobot 12 Mandalorian Counter-Intelligence Officer 11 Death Watch Saboteur 15 Mouse Droid x5 9 Ugnaught Demolitionist x3
Preferred Reinforcements: (Lobot) 8 Muun Tactics Broker (Lobot) 12 Mouse Droid x4
(102pts. 17 activations)
You will notice this squad starts with high acts, but you still have roughly half the build total left to tinker with. At 17 acts and anti act control this squad will have the ability to go toe to toe with thrawn, daala and their similar squads.
So I put it to you all, come up with your best squads :)

Exactly, I love competition and increasing the quality squads that are available. I figure each week I could post a partially built squad and we could all give a go at making it as competitive as possible :)

-Mando Pilots-- 30 Mandalorian Squadron Leader 28 Kelborn 27 Lobot 18 Klatooinian Captain 34 Mandalorian Pilot x2 16 Mandalorian Gunsmith 12 Mandalorian Counter-Intelligence Officer 11 Death Watch Saboteur 15 Mouse Droid x5 9 Ugnaught Demolitionist x3
Preferred Reinforcements: (Lobot) 8 Muun Tactics Broker (Lobot) 12 Mouse Droid x4
(200pts. 22 activations)
Here's the first squad I came up with, glass cannons, but plenty of mobility and accurate shot.

Cool idea! Here is my take:
--(SBC) Squad Building Challenge Week 1 Entry: Death's Watch-- 45 Darth Maul, Death Watch Overlord 38 Tor Vizsla, Death Watch Founder 28 Kelborn 27 Lobot 12 Death Watch Berserker 12 Mandalorian Counter-Intelligence Officer 11 Death Watch Saboteur 15 Mouse Droid x5 12 Ugnaught Demolitionist x4
(200pts. 16 activations)
Figured since there was already a death watch member here I might as well throw in maul and Visla (who super boosts Maul) berserker is there for scrubs and visla handles the strafe.

Here's mine.
--SBC1-- 28 Kelborn 27 Lobot 24 Mandalorian Tactician 23 Mandalorian Captain 45 Death Watch Raider x3 12 Mandalorian Counter-Intelligence Officer 11 Death Watch Saboteur 6 Mandalorian Demolitionist 15 Mouse Droid x5 9 Ugnaught Demolitionist x3
Preferred Reinforcements: (Lobot) 8 Muun Tactics Broker (Lobot) 12 Mouse Droid x4
(200pts. 23 activations)
Since you have a very good chance of going first, use the tactician and kelborn to set up three death watch raiders for some nice cunning attacks. Use the demolitionist to take out the MTB if you need to.

Here's mine
--SBC 1 (mandos)-- 28 Kelborn 27 Lobot 23 Mandalorian Captain 19 Death Watch Assassin 38 Mandalorian Scout x2 15 Death Watch Raider 12 Mandalorian Counter-Intelligence Officer 11 Death Watch Saboteur 12 Mandalorian Demolitionist x2 9 Mouse Droid x3 6 Ugnaught Demolitionist x2
Preferred Reinforcements: (Lobot) 8 Muun Tactics Broker (Lobot) 12 Ugnaught Demolitionist x4
(200pts. 21 activations)
I took the liberty to drop 2 mice and an uggie since so I could have room for 2x Mando Demolitionists as they are just better door control and I feel with 20 ish acts, you should still be fine outacivating most stuff.
1 cunning guy for top of the round stuff, 2 opp guys that do the heavy lifting, and 1 accurate guy to do the precision work.

Love maxing out the natural synergies in the squad. Tor and Maul are some of my favorite Mandos. Looks good and has two strong counters to strafe, both Tor and Maul.

Use the demolitionist to take out the MTB if you need to. You know, I knew that the Demolitionist had self destruct, but I never thought about using him as the mtb off switch, sooooo smart!!! Since your maxing out deathwatch you may want to try and make room for the overlord for his +4atk +10 dmg.

Yea thats perfectly fine, next time I wont occupy so much space in the half built squad with 3 pointers. One of my favorite part about Mando squads is playing to each individual pieces strengths and weaknesses. Since this squad is going to want to out activate trying to get the most out of the opportunist scouts is a great idea!

Edit: also, here is my squad. http://www.bloomilk.com/Squad/178139/sbc-week-2Two CEs based on being all out of activations and a CE that lets you activate faster. Might not work too well against another squad in the same format, still kinda fun.
