last night i watched the season premier of clone wars season 2 and was dissapointed by who was going to be one of my new favorite BHs.
granted, the guy can plan well and can improvise even better, but when it came down to it, he lost his fight to ASHOKA TANO. if she would never have gotten a swelled head over taking him down, ol' cad would be in a republic prison somewhere. he got lucky.
how can ol' cad call himself elite in the star wars universe if some giggly valley girl is going to own him in a fight?

Um, he got away from Anakin, Ashoka, Rex and so on, with the Holoron information, and stowed away on the jedi's ship without them knowing about it. I would hardly call that "lame".

Cad is no joke he was fighting jedi and the best of the clones and he is still alive. His plan was good, hes smart, cunning and ruthless and for those of you who think the show is real childish this episode should have changed your mind on that with Cad tourtureing jedi to death and everything.

the last season felt very well aimed to the youngin's . But this season, I feel, is more aimed for the older ages, but still "clean" enough for the little people.

OK, i know the guy is smart and uses cunning, stealth, yada.......
he still (in my eyes) lost 1 on 1 to ashoka tano. i just find her character to be more annoying than both jar jar and C-3PO.

when did he lose to Ashoka?  He had her bound and a button push away for getting sucked into space.

I remember him zaping her to sleep so I think that means he won and he also must have beaten the jedi knight who he had in that tourture room witch is pretty good for a guy with no force himslef. Oh and I really cant see how she is worse than Jar Jar.

Yea thats two jedi knights he killed and he could have killed her but he needed her alive so skywalker would do his bidding.

Ahsoka "beat" Grievous in the first season as well. She not only took one of his hands, but got her lightsaber back before escaping. She's just good - like her or not. Maybe others just underestimate her.
As for Cad, he showed more as a bounty hunter than any other has in movies or TV. Boba looks cool, but hardly takes out anyone on his own in the movies. Aurra knows how to watch pod races. Zam failed multiple times. Jango did not do so well against Obi (barely escaped and was tracked) and even worse against Mace.
Not to belittle any of your favorite characters out there, but trying to make a point that Bounty Hunters are far inferior to Jedi in Lucas' movie and TV world. Minis are a whole different ball game. It was refreshing to see a bounty hunter hold his own and have the upper hand. I think his performance in the series so far justifies the minis piece with its power stats. Looking forward to seeing how he gets out of the Republic ship.

Or Fett getting owned by Lord Starkiller...wait a minute, he should get owned never mind my bad... Yeah, Maul's demise was about the worst ever in Star Wars that I can remember...

Wait... Cad Bane tortured a Jedi to death?!?! Holy crap! I never watched a single episode of the series because I thought it was just for 8-year-olds. But hey, if dudes are getting beat to death, this is serious stuff! I may have to start watching it.
