Who do you think is the best Unique (and Medium) shooter in SWM, in terms of their prowess as a shooter? (Not commanders, such as General Wedge or Thrawn.)

I placed my vote for Boba, MC. The main reason he came out over Rex and Dash is Accurate Shot. That, combined with some nasty damage, Penetration, and GMA is tough to beat. Missiles is always great, too. Plus, he's got a killer CE for a faction that really needed the help.

Boba, Mercenary. Intuition on a piece with Cunning and Accurate rock.

Hard to beat that combo of abilities. The fact that he's a follower makes it all the more sweet.

Though, not going to lie: Aurra Sing (CS) has come back to the spotlight for me, with Whorm.

And yeah, Boba, Merc can really be built up into a dangerous shooter.

Well shoot, Whorm has been a breath of fresh air to so many older minis. I like Lando DS with him too. Even Boba Enforcer is a solid choice when running Whorm. That's a big reason Whorm is my top choice for mini of 2009 Wink.

I'm looking forward to running her with the new Inquisitor piece. That extra +4 attack against the fodder (since most don't have a force rating) could be big.

Boba Merc, I'd say. He takes some fexibility to run, and is a flexible piece himself. Great combo of abilities, and great synergy with many CE's.

Honestly for pure staying power Lando DS has been a classic inclusion (and always contributes in my experience) in squads in every faction since he came out. He's cheap, does decent damage, has Evade and Mobile. He doesn't require a CE to work correctly, he doesn't need any special attention, he just goes out, shoots, and runs back.

Simple enough.BigGrin

My all time favorite though is Aurra CS. Her + Whorm is filthy. Bringing back arguably the best figure in the game for a long time (Before say Bounty Hunters) is really making me happy.

Well Boba BH is one of the most powerful figs of all time. Flight, evade, mobile, twin, and acuarate is the words you want on a shooter his Hp and defence makes him a tough cookie. Peeps just need to quit playing his 5% chance a shot to defeat a fig and play him like any other shooter you would play.

So many choices.

Aurra and Lando DS definitely deserve respect.
I dislike Dash, that's just me Wink

Going with Boba MC - even without his CE, he is still an absolute beast.

I went with Mara Jade Jedi because she is the only one that can put out 120 damage reliably

I have to say Boba BH simply because he can be a pain in any squad, without commander effects, and he has an insane range of abilities and stats for 62 points.

Boba, Merc. Intuition and double and 20 more damage vs. BH is why i like him. That being said he does need a little help from say wedge or reikan to stay upright he will put damage on whoever you want pretty consistantly.

Aurra CS is also incredibly usefull with whorm

I like Han, GH because of his GMA, Accurate, and Evade. He also has Cunning. I also like how he neuters Thrawn's tactician, the disruption, and the fact he's a follower. He's not as popular and is a little costly, but I still think he's the best.

I'm going with Dash Rendar, Renegade Smuggler... mainly because this piece is very useful in almost all factions (in terms of point cost and effectiveness of a well-rounded shooter), except for perhaps Seps, Vong, and Mandos. But with the Lobot, CLO, getting Dash out is always good
