no they are not harder to get but you have to know that there are only 2 mouse droids in a case. So you have a 1 in 6 chance of finding one.

Might seem like that, but the distribution of UC's is the same, 2 per case.

Three of my local players have gotten Mouse Droids in their first IE boosters.

I pulled 2 in my first 4 packs when they came out (helps make up for Moff Jerjerrod, Lobot, Logray and Leia Bounty Hunter).
I then got 2 in my case. They didn't seem any harder to me.
How did I not get any of piece #41 and it is listed by Bloomilk as being only an UC?

#41 was a error on Wizard's part. They painted the 181st Imperial Pilot as an Elite AT-AT Driver, so they made up an official stat card for him, creating the first real 41st mini.

The Mouse Droid shouldn't be any harder to pull from a booster than any other Uncommon. The thing is that most feel it should have been a common which makes it twice as hard to pull as it probably should be.

of course the fact that some sites have it listed at $10 makes it naturally seem harder to locate in a actual booster.
I feel your pain.
And yes the ELite At At driver card is downloadable and completely legal for DCI play. In fact the download links are in the FLoor Rules document. You must clearly mark it if you are using 181st pilots in the same squad though.

They seem harder to get because of there popularity. They are'nt any harder to get than any other uncommon, but with only two in a case, they are actually hard to get. But no harder than any other uncommon.

Or at least I think it was. I also bought a LOTF booster...maybe at the same time. Not that any of that is important. I bought maybe 10 boosters or so in my first few weeks collecting and they have sort of merged into one...
