Ferus Olin
Zuckuss
Mando and Droid JHs
Rodian Brutes

Those would cover the various rarities.

Yeah, I think Ferus or Dass will be the top VR. They will definitely be in the top 4 for sure. Kir has a chance (based on how people are snatching him up). I think Bomo is going to be sitting at the bottom. He is useful, but people aren't going to pay that much for an 18 point EU character. Jax is slightly better, since he has been in 3 novels.

Zuckuss is a no brainer for the Rs. I suppose Mermeru could give him a run for his money. People do like wookiees. Especially new, Unique wookiees. I wouldn't be surprised if Veers duplicates Jerjerrod's poor performance. The Unique Imperial Officers don't sell well.

The Mando, I believe, is a common. But I do agree with you on the Jedi Hunter Droids. They will be up near the top. I'd probably throw in the Sovereign Protector up there too.

I think the Brute and the Mando will be tops in the common bracket. The T'Surr will duke it out with the Fringe Engineer for the price basement. The Engineer has better SAs, but the T'Surr might appeal to the RPG crowd more.

BTW @ tirade: the only imp officers i know who do well are ozzel and moff nyna...they do GREAT actually :)

i say kir kanos. best stats, and no of those "BONUS, at end ofturn, save 11. if fail, join other squad OR defeated." thats brutal, i dont know who would want those characters...

rodian brute (obviously), sep. jedihunter, imp inquisitor, about 2/3 of the BHs..at the bottom of the chain i would say is chewbacca (a really dumb ability..."breath mask"?!), and veers. bomo is pretty good, with minimal support he could become effective (w/ rieekan for ex.) the fact that hes a fringe makes him very veratile. i have hope for him lol :P

I hope the rodians never get that high, they are only commons! But if they do, I will be very happy with many i ordered for $.49 each. But being as there are still plenty for pre-order at $.49 I can't see them going over a $1.

Neither Ozzel nor Nyna top $2 very often. They are good pieces, but they are utility pieces like other Imperial Officers.

As for Kir Kanos, he's not bad. I'm just not overly impressed. He's very vanilla. Those other "risk" force powers add more tactics to the game. That's a good thing. You need to judge when to use those FPs.

Oh, I agree. I just think the Protector and the JH Droid will stay higher. You only need 1 Inquisitor (maybe 2). People will want to run at least 2 of the Protector and the Droid.

I really want K'kruhk. I think he looks good for his 33 points and will be a good mid range Jedi. Loving Force Renewal as well for leaping.

But it does seem most people are going after Ferus Olin.

People who've read Dark Times or Times or The Last of the Jedi and also own Clone Strike Yoda, who'll drop the bad stuff from a 50% chance to a 25%? Still risky, but fun.

You did see the bonus, right. +4 Atk and +20 (!!!!!) Dam. And both of those characters have double. So, when you use it, you should be doing an extra 40 dam, possibly more (up to +80 Dam with Jennir). If I am taking out a 50+ pt fig, you bet I am going to use those powers, since despite the risk, you will still come out ahead.

Ferus is definately going to be the best due to playability. Kir may be close due to character popularity.

Kota's Elite Miltia were ought up in droves when they were around 1.25-1.50, but ti seems like at 2.00 not much is moving.

That's something we talked about last night. There was alot of talk before this set of power creep, but I would say this set really doesn't show any of that. In fact, we didn't really think there were any figs in this set that were game changing. Last set it seems Cad Bane was highly sought after.

I'm not to exited about any of the pieces.
The bounty hunters are cool, because of their different SA.
I don't they are a lot better though.

It will be Kir Kanos, with Asharad and K'kruhk bring up second and third. VRs seem to be worth more these days, and these three are fan favorites

K'Kruhk is hovering around the $10 to $12 range. He won't be a top contender. Just like his JA predecessor.

However, Kir and Hett have been selling well so far.

@Mickey - I'm not surprised Cad has been the chase piece from GaW. He's a cookie cutter shooter (which people like) that has a prominent role in the CW cartoon. To top that off, he's a VR to boot. That said, I think Dark Times is far more creative than anything GaW offered.

Yeah, I saw that too. It was somewhat fascinating. I wouldn't mind owning some to pose next to Kota. However, I don't think the piece has much game play value. The Elite is ok, but there are nastier options in that 12-14 point range. I think the Elite will drop from that $2 price.
