Champions of the Force FTW! The Jedi Weapons Master was the first melee character to not be terribly overcosted (except maybe Vader, JH). Mas Amedda was a huge leap forward for the Republic and the Empire. The Republic Commandos are just plain awesome. The Ugnaught Demolitionist became a staple in EVERY squad. Darth Bane was, for the longest time, the metagame of 100 points. To top it off, the Sith and Old Republic were introduced.

The Force Unleashed, hands down. The greatest VR's and R's (inlcuding huge pieces). Felcor, Luke Snowspeeder, Wookie Hunter AT-ST, Vader U, VAU, Master Kota, Luke HPU, VAR, Admiral Ozzel, Kazdan Paratus should I say more? Shaak Ti JM, Revan, and Boba Fett Merc.

Why the heck is Clone Strike not up there (outside of the "Other" option that is)? A bunch of the stuff in that set is still useful and used today, and when it came out, it completely dominated over everything in Rebel Storm.

I would have to say Imperial Entanglements It just has so many minis that I see in lots of squads and also use myself in a ton of squads, Just think of how many squads have dash or mice in them and how many rebel squads with rieekan and that just naming a few.

Imperial Entanglements/KOTOR. The fact that neither of those appear on the list of choices is...*sigh*

Legacy hands down. (Krayt, Talon, Nihl, Cade, nice NR boost, and good luck taking the keldors alive!)

champions of the force is my favorite. It was the first set that i pumped alot of money into and i loved the pieces especially for the time. Exar and the massassis were awsome and then you have bacara, cody and the other clone commanders, the republic commandos... and alot more

Missing the rest of the sets, and "other" is just to vague for an answer, it's like people who put "maybe" on a voting list. So I'll vote on what's here.
The Clone Wars
Here's why, first off I love the show, so seeing some of the characters for the first time on here (Ashoka, Rex) was nice. The Sculpts are absolutely beautiful and off the top of my head I can't think of any poorly done ones. Special props to Durge JH and Grievous DAC. Finally that last piece Grievous DAC rebooted the Seps as a faction and made them very playable.

(note: if the others were up I would have to give my vote to ROTS, the first set I bought and three Grievous's haha)

Aye, Imperial Entanglements at least should have been a auto include. Though I would not have it up there, it offered some potent stuff, but the set just did not set me alight. Probably because I did not buy that much of it.

My personal two favourate sets are Glaxery at War and Dark Times.

The former is just a huge toolbox of charcters from the show, a case of this is the perfect present for a young child who got into the game watching the series. Plus it's one of the few sets that is mostly self contained. You could buy a case and build a faction out of the box. From obvious Grevious and Droids and Captain Rex and his clones, to Anikin, Whormsome, Mar Tuck, Jet Pack Obi, Akosha, Admiral Yurarin and more to provide verious bonus's. Meaning you don't have to go though multiple packs to get a good fun squad together. Though theres obvious benfits for getting other figures the clone wars and such. ^^

Only thing that is a little strange is that the senate commando unique actually providing a benfit for senate commandos is strange, though I guess I can't complain, I just treat him as a generic squad leader for accuacys sake. XD

Dark Times meanwhile is a breath of fresh air to me, a set based almost entirely in the EU in the time between Episode 3 and 4 was great compared to seeing yet another incarnation of Han and Luke and provided many new faces to use. Plus the bounty hunters in the set are awesome, one of the few sets where you don't have to pull VR to pull big. ^^

Probably the best set is champions of the force for the Uggies though, those guys are the backbones of every army in the Star Wars univerce. Apprently, these guys are the long, long lost decendance of Chuck Norris, only his awesomeness ended up deforming them, even then, they still show off their awesomeness by being cheap and blowing up doors. Plus without Mas, there would be no imperial army in my opinon. Heh

The runner up is the clone wars, simply because of Durge BH. If only he were fringe. Though that would probably be too much considering how good he is already. Greater Mobile evading Durge? XD Grevious in that set though breathed new life into them, even with Whormsome, for droid armys, you can't possibly have a better figure in his slot. +4 attack and defence is awesome, twin just makes him a terrfiying commander. A worthy rival to GOWK unlike Dooku. XD

i know, the weird thing is that the creator of this thread (no offense) put many of the "dud" sets...well, i dont mean dud literally but what most people would call now obscure sets...such as RS (sry guys had to say it :( ) , universe (the TRUE dud, lol only 4 good figs IMO, the vong R/VR, thrawn (Though new one tops him), and rancor (again, new felcore tops him)), alliance and empire (not worth too much, again only a select # of figs worhtwhile)

whereas, on the other hand IE, KOTOR, BH, and FU shouldve totally been added in place of the mentioned above :)

on topic, i say either COTF (my first booster :D:D:D:D), or FU (pulled a VAU and boba merc in my first 2 FU packs; and 3 VRs in my first 3 FU boosters [third was han in carbonite :(])...
