I have been collecting minis for a couple of years, but I've only played a few times. I am wondering if there is a resource that shows the best way to use a specific piece (ie Exar Kuhn is best used with ... because ... OR anytime a battle droid is used be sure ...).
I have picked up a number of things by looking at this website, but I still don't always understand the benefits of using certain strategies.
Thanks for the help.

BountyHunterH not really in the veins you are thinking because- characters and squad building have so much opinion attached to them by SO Many players what you CAN so is look at the SQUAD section at the top of the board and look at squads made by players with only that character or combo of charactes of your choosing IMO Kun is best used in 200 point squads where one or both tactics are used- Beasts with savage maximizing on his Commander Effect and or characters with low cost and High movement options Swoop biker Amanin Nexuu Mynok

and if you go to the Characters section of this site ... you'll see Synergy Providers and Receivers for each mini.

Also, if you download the MiniManager software, many of the characters have some sort of suggested use for each of them.
As always, if you're looking to use a particular character, post a squad and ask for critique. :)
As for knowing things like "any time a Battle Droid is in play, watch out for..." Well, that just comes with playing and experience.

Also just asking works to, most of us are pretty friendly. For the Battle Droid if you are playing him some ideas: Be sure to ALWAYS bring: Battle Droid Officer (+4 attack is always good) General Grievous Droid Army Commander (+4 Atk, +4 Def, Twin Attack, almost doubles the effectiveness of the droid) Gha Naket (rapport of one less means if you bring at least twelve battle droids your getting this guy for free and a discount on anything after)
There are many more options to but hope that helps
Oh and if your going against them, characters with strafe, galloping attack, cleave, rolling cleave, and spread area damage weapons and force powers. Remember they are non-living so things like poison won't work against them. Also Damage Reduction Special abilities work especially well against their 10 damage.

With the exception of the Battle Droid Officer, I disagree about the "always bring" you listed. While Grievous, DAC is the best commander version of him, he's not always the best choice, as his cost might be prohibitive or his CE doesn't mesh well with the rest of the squad. And Gha Nachkt isn't good for a pure Battle Droid Army (unless you were using 12+) as the droids die in one hit, thus making his repair near-useless.
