Hey.

I recently started a post that was a joke-rumour about a new SWM set. It was since been locked and for good reason. Just wanted to apologise for any confusions and ill-feeling it may have engendered. Sorry guys!

I'm in the same boat as monni...

Well, I'm sure we all appreciate the optimistic sense of humor you showed, even if it was shown in the wrong way. Sure beats people who proclaim doom on SWM...

Not a big deal. Most people here are in the know and so a "joke" like that isn't really likely to succeed except on the very very gullible. ;)

its a sad day in the realm of humanity when we feel we need to apologise for humor.

You should not have apologized. You should have told whoever was offended to relax. Ridiculous. I thought it was funny. Anyone who was offended needs to find some more things to occupy their time. And buy a sense of humor.

I wrote up a damaged Vader custom once. I think he's not a cyborg because of game mechanics, they don't want him being vulnerable to 5 point jawas. My custom had cyborg, lots of force powers but physically vulnerable...which should make you laugh if you beat him in The Force Unleashed. You kick his metal butt-plate, crack open his armor, screw up his respirator, and he's just as hard as before.

In this case it was more attempted humor. But yeah, it wasn't offensive.
