I liked it, but it is frustrating. It seems like 30-45 min were cut. It seemed like almost like half a movie.

Effects weren't bad. I didn't feel anything for Benecio Del Toro's character at all.

I was falling asleep literally. I was tired... but, the movie was a bit of a snoozefest for me overall. I'd recommend renting it if you want to see it. And I agree with Sithborg, it did seem like half a movie.

I really liked it, the special effects were great! I know what you mean though, del Toro's character seemed kinda emotionless

I sdaw it last night and i thought it was actually quite good. i understand why people would have these thoughts about tthe movie but i thought it was great. the story didnt drag at the start or end and I thoughtt Del Toro played his character perfectly. Emotionless would not be the word i would use. Cold would be a beter description. I thought it was fantastic acting and a good story line. 8/10

I'm curious because it has some good actors in it (Sean Bean, Pierce Brosnan, Joe Pantoliano) however I think it's made by Disney, so it will be all PG-rated. and on top of that, it looks like another Harry Potter story. Ya know, goofy kid with odd powers learns he has a secret life and abilities, and he must confront lords of darkness yada yada yada.

I kind of thought it was ironic that they chose Benecio to be the wolfman since he was the wolf boy on Pee Wee's Playhouse.

Star Wars?

Eragon?

Star Wars is different, Luke only used his power once in ANH. Plus he didn't make stupid scared/shocked faces every turn of the movie(Harry Potter)

Eragon is stupid IMO becuase I think the first book really ripped off Star Wars:

We have the nephew of a farmer who lives in a backwater town, but dreams of becoming something bigger. But his life changes when he inherits a great destiny and becomes the last of his special kind, the dragonriders(jedi). Then he meets an old mentor figure and "Oh no" the bad guys have killed his uncle and torched his farm. So he goes with the old man on a journey, and meets a rogue, and learns about a princess that needs saving! Then the old man is struck down, and after rescuing the princess, the boy joins a rebel alliance to fight against the evil empire. Then the empire's forces arrive with the emperor's second in command at the rebel's base, but the boy beats the shade and the rebels are safe for now!
