Like 20 years ago, there was a computer chess program that used SW characters.
Now We can use SWM to play for real...:P

You forgot Vong to, however i don't really know the vong to well. Thats actually a good idea, useing SWM's for Chess pieces, i never thought about that. You don't only have to do fractions you could do like themes to

They did come out with a Star Wars chess game a while ago that pit Heroes against villains. So you could use your SWM for that if you don't own the chess pieces or wanted to do heroes vs villains.
Heroes/White
King- Yoda
Queen- Obi-Wan Kenobi
Bishops- Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia
Knights- Han Solo and Chewbacca
Rooks- Padme Amidala and C-3PO with R2-D2.
Pawns- Clone Troopers (phase 1 armor)
Villains/Black

I use to have an cheap Episode 1 chess set. Battledroids were pawns, destroyer droids were the Rooks I believe, Maul and Sidious were the King and Queen, THere was anm Obi and quigon and jar and padma as well.
It was fun little set.

Um i think you were a tad off on the sith. i would go (im going for uniques with the big ones cuz i wana
King - darth bane, Kraytt, Revan, Sid. ( bane is the one of the three most influencial sith of all time, kraytt is like the best sith overlord ever, and revan cuz he is pretty much king of everything )

With Rebels & Imperials you can make it look a little more "official" with the following swap outs.
Knight = Rebels and Scouts on Speeder Bikes
Rook = Rebel & Snowtrooper with E-Web blasters
I think the above representations are truer to chess form.

I think the above representations are truer to chess form. The only problem to use E-Web Blasters is the Size. Bigger minis, need a bigger board, because the each squard is larger. Most of the regular chess boards are small enough to use medium size of minis. If you able to find a larger or exarge larger chess board (make by youself perhaps :P), nobady can stop you to use AT-AT

It we are talking about the Sith, then you are right (Obi-wan: a certain point of view :P)

RULE OF 2 Ummmm Last time i checked Darth krayt is a playable character from the sith faction of star wars miniatures.........  and on wookiepedia he is clasified in the sith faction.........  and i think bane laughs at krayt because he dosn't agree with Krayt's methods.
