People getting out of the game are really going to drop the prices. I'm expecting Gencon this year to be a buyers market.

Unlike cards, the primary market has always included collectors and other uses (according to WotC, these were always larger than game players). I don't expect nearly the sell off that is typical of a card game.

I am sure to a degree this will happen but since I can't fathom why someone would invest only to play while a tourny scene is active just to sell it all at the end confuses me. I still have my SSb stuff, okay that game stank, but I was also hoping for a new rule set, and that appears on the way with Enginers hard work now in the PT stage, and a lot of help from WaS

take my minis from my cold dead hands!!!!
I just got an AT-AT this weekend for $60 from a LGS guy who was thinking about eBaying it, but figured someone who would actually use it should have it. Very convenient for me considering with shipping some USED AT-ATs were going for that amount.

Ewok Deity and Xizor will start to have more similar values, for example.
