I just got Jolee Bindo in a Kotor Booster. I think he is pretty cool +2/+2 for all factions is pretty neat.

My question is, Is jolee worth his points?

Also what factions does he work best in?

YES!!! He is DEFINITELY worth his points, I play him with living Seps (Durge Jh, Aurra Jh, Tyrannus, Legacy, etc.)

I like Jolee and think he is worth his cost he ain't that bad on his own. I'm not sure what faction he goes best with.

I have mixed feelings, about Bindee. I think his CE is great for his cost, but I have a hard time placing him in squads because I feel like I can get viable damage output from many other pieces around the same spot.

As for his best squad I would say republic is not his best. Bindo is pretty much overshadowed by GOWK or Flobi.

I've always felt like Sith is where Bindo shines the most, because his CE is cheap and he can benefit from renewal from the hologram. But again thats just my opinion. Nice pull!

Not really. There are very few factions that he isn't overshadowed by. Most factions have a better commanders for the points.

Jolee's CE is a good fit in certain squad types, and he is a decent (but not great by any means) interference piece when you need help with both things.

He really helps the Imperial/Mercenary squads to hit more reliably.

Pretty handy in the OR as well IMO. ThumpUp

Now my opinion is biased, but I love Jolee in squads.

He offers a ton of flexibility to my two favorite factions (OR and the living Seps) so my view is skewed because he offers invaluable stat boosts to factions who obviously don't have them (OR Captain is VERY situational and tactically isn't half as effective as Jolee IMO).

Giving Legacy Tyrannous a 27 defense in cover or vs Jedi or Mira and Battlemasters +2/+2 is the reason I have won many of the games that I have.

If you really want to be adventurous, try him in NR or Vong. Vong Jedi hunters essentially become Ossus Guardians with him (yes Valor effects Vong because while it is a Force power it grants a CE).

In NR kyle becomes ludicrous, and Kyp can actually hit something suddenly.

Jolee is wonderful. I play Imperials and he's an almost invaluable asset in some squads. With a force battery, Avoid Defeat can actually come into play multiple times, and Stun can really come in handy.

In some places Jolee is worth his cost and in other situations he is not. I often find him usefull in squads with uniques that don't benefit from other stat bonus CE's, such as Vader JH, an example where I've used him with great effect. However you really need to be careful with him, he is fragile.

But in the right squad he is one of the best for what he does.

I would love to have him if you ever think he isn't worth keeping!

Well a quick search for squads with Bindo says there are 250 results. Most seem to be Imperial or Republic, I guess because he is frail and you can use Mas Amedda to boost his CE range. The best part is Force Valor stacks with other CEs. I want him for my Sith squads because they have so few +attack CEs, well that and I have a bunch of mice to use with him.

Just for clarification, the stat bonus does not stack with other stat bonuses. So you could not use Force Valor with Malak, DlotS's CE to give out +6 attack. They are both flat out stat bonuses, so the higher one overrides the other.

Yeah, you misread Force Valor. It means that the user gets the CE IN ADDITION to any CE's that character already has, it doesn't override another CE the character has.

Is the definition here on Bloomilk different from the WotC official rule? Milk indicates the Force Valor CE is "is in addition to any existing commander effect."

I understand that say Kota and GM Yoda CEs won't stack, but the def for FV says it stack with "any" other CE. If it won't stack with Malak Dark Lord's +4 attack, will it at least supplement it with a +2 defense to the same followers?

It's in addition to any other CE that the character with Force Valor may have. Not that the results of the CE stack.

For example, say a Force user had a CE of providing Allies with Mettle. Once they use 2 points for Force Valor, they now have two CEs. Force Valor's new CE doesn not replace the existing CE.

Ah ok, so Yoda JM with his existing Wookiee Bodyguard CE gains the +2 +2 CE "in addition to" the other CE.

Its an "in addition to" for the mini producing the effect not an "in addition to" for the mini receiving the effect.

Right?

Edit... ah yes just saw your response. Thanks.
