Ok guys, I would like to spotlight characters that are often overlooked. Theres nothing wrong with the current trend in teams, but at the same time there is. I think everybody would like to be able to think of the new best team, but I think we start to avoid "copycatting" I think my inspiration for wanting to really use pieces that aren't used often is a combined result from BillV's time for fun thread and also with tired of seeing the same teams over and over. (If this needs to be moved to squad discussion I understand)

So with that being said the first character I would like to throw out is Dannik Jerriko.
I know I know, a cannibal who isn't really that cool. But you can't argue with his abilities and stats. He may be one of the best unplayed characters in the game. His abilities make him versatile enough that he would benefit in any faction.

Ok, so his first ability, cunning, among fringe yes its pretty common. Of the 22 fringe pieces that have cunning, only 3 which can benefit from CE's have a higher attack. Those would be Guri, Ayy Vida and Bobba Fett merc. 4 if you include Hk-47 (yes I know he can benefit from CE's but I'm referring to generalities.)

Now with having cunning already I'm thinking of all the possibilities I have to ensure I'm attacking with a 13/20(Thrawn/Yularen.) Still nothing to write home about right? So lets throw in stealth. Ok so stealth has way more people with stealth than cunning. I mean a 4 point gran raider has stealth, so how does this make Jerriko more worthy? Well the simple answer would be, super stealth. The stealth ability alone expands his versatility because now Jerriko will be useful in a Nom Anor squad/Moff Nyna squad.

Proboscises, is nothing different than any other move which can activate an opponent, but rarely do the moves which stop movement grant an additional +10 damage. They may already have a 20+ damage output and may not warrant it, however back to being versatile, we can now give Jerriko's possible damage out put to 30 on one attack. Also he can benefit from the Czerka for twin, which is 50 damage (only 1st attack would gain the +10 as I understand) but you gain two chances to activate a character.

Lastly is the drain life energy. Healing can be a costly gimmick. Not necessarily cost wise but activation wise. No other character can completely self heal back to full health in a single activation. That alone makes his survivability of 70 HP worth more than his 23 points.

Some scenario teams that he could benefit from are:
Super stealth, Sith hologram, Dark Woman/Qui gon trainer, Swap squad (if he's damaged goods you could wait till somebody's almost dead and then have him heal himself after kililng them)

Just my .02 cents. Let me know your thoughts. If all goes well with this thread I'll post up my next one. Thanks for reading, I know it was quite a bit.

i saymon montah is kinda overlooked...shes good, and worthwhile IMO

pojo does a similar character review every so often, i love it. i think its great to see what people think of a character and highlight them, i give kudos to the OP and this thread.
