hey guys

wondering whats the most PHAIL thing you've ever done in the history of YOUR playing SWM...heres mine:

I was playing my friend (my ONLY friend and ONLY person who plays SWM with me Crying ) on the Starship (ROTS SS) Map. I was Mandalorian, he was Rebel.

I had a common Boba MC + Scout squad, and it was pretty effective to say the least...that is, if my friend didn't have General Rieekan in his squad! Cursing

His Han Solo, Smuggler literally evaded about 13 saves (heh heh, LUCKY #, eh?) in a row, while he just sat in Gambit taking (successful) pot shots at my figs...it was annoying.

To add to that, my Boba MC couldnt "hit a basketball with a barn door" if you know what i mean. Luckily, i left him in the little space where only flight characters can go, so his Luke couldnt hit me BigGrin

That was the only upside...it went downhill from there. I think I MANAGED to FINALLY kill his Han after I lost pretty much all of my squad (save a scout and Boba), and to finish the the game with my Boba at 40 HP left his Princess Leia (AE) takes a pot shot at me and rolls...a crit. wow.

IMO, that was a PHAILURE!!! whats your PHAIL SWM story?

Usually if your opponent makes that many Evade saves you just say "**** it" and get adjacent ;)

I've been in your opponents situation in a game with LoboStele. My Boba BH (actually the last time I played him, around a year and a half ago or so) was able to Evade around 9-11 shots from his Cade BH. Even though his Cade would get adjacent I kept moving 6 and shooting, wearing him down. It was a pain for him that Cade kept hitting me so I didn't have to try Splash saves, lol.

My personal PHAIL that I've had was one time in a tourney it was down to me against someone's Boba BH. All that was needed was for one of us to get a successful attack off against the other. He wins init...and misses. I thought, "great! I can do this" but then go and miss the attack. LMAO! He won next init and killed me, but it was still funny thinking about it...

To be fair to his opponent, he also might have been thinking about Force Sense wrong.
I've been in that situation: new character, both players just getting it wrong.

true, though you must note that Force Sense is not a new FP, its been existing since CotF came out...so i doubt anyone could get it wrong since CotF. ;)

IMO, of course :)

My Phail moment? The one I share over and over on this site because it will always irk me.
I listened to my friend on which out of two packs of Bounty Hunters to get, and I pulled 4-LOM and a snowspeeder. The guy who bought the other pack that I originally was considering of buying (but was persuaded otherwise by my friend) got Boba Fett Bounty Hunter and a Young Krayt Dragon.
Just thinking about it brings a tear to my eye. Sad Crying

I lost my chance to win a tournament like that once. Worst part is, I messed up my final activation and didn't position correctly for a Push or I would have been closer to gambit. Cursing

I really need to improve my end game. I've overlooked so many opportunities... Sad

Verify that it is not a spin-down die.

Use HIS die for your rolls.

We had a scenario in place that at the begining of a round you roll a d20 and a random effect happens. We the random effect was that anyone who dies makes and attack at +10 damage immediatley before dieing. We were playing 5 on 2 maps for a fun mass battle. A commando shot at my youngling whos was adjacent to another persons Boba Merc. IT killed the Youngling and the youngling made the attack and Critted boba fett merc which killed him too and he had noone else to shoot because he didnt have line of sight.

That type of scenario sounds quite entertaining. In particular, the "deathshot" thing really shakes up game strategies.

Cause one enemy to attack another. Nice! ThumpUp

My Phail momemt when it came to buying boosters is ridiculous & i think i told it on this site before, anyways i got my LGS to order me 3 ROTS boosters to try to get an Emp Palp Sith Lord, i mean 3 boosters is better than 1 giving the shot & he never really had ROTS boosters so had to order, so when they came in heres what i pulled,

#1 booster, open it up & get an R2 Astro, now that sounds pretty good, but mind you i was brand new player & only ran imps so didnt even consider republic & had no clue with the difference with a VR/R, so i traded him right away for an Anteres Draco like a moron & within a few weeks realized the idiotic thing i did. Anyways

#2 booster, i pulled Darth Vader, the same Darth Vadetr i had 2 of from the SS because i baught my friend a SS thinkin i would get him in the game & he didnt so i just kept the other vader, so that put me up to 3 darth vaders lol.

#3 booster, open it up with my last chance at what i wanted, & what do you know another Darth Vader lol, you figure man to pull 2 of the same VR's from 3 packs would be amazing if it was good so you could trade it, but i mean this is the one time you wished it would of been Boba YM lol anything but a Vader again, i mean i didnt even want him the 2nd booster cuz i already had 2, now i was up to 4. I couldnt give him away & i still got one lol.

Now my Phail moment with playing a game was going against a team with a Boba BH & a bunch of big D gotal Fringers, sure enough by the end of the 2nd round when we got to attacking, i would say 7 of my 15 characters were ghost because of all of the crits with Boba BH & the Gotal's handing out Big D's like a molester handing kids candy so killed half my team including 3 main characters i had, yea ridiculous stuff ha..
