 On seeing this picture and the name, it is clearly not a rebel trooper reprint. Anyone reckon it could be a 5 point rebel scrub that is on more of a level with the stormie? eg, a much higher defense.

It looks to me a lot like the Veteran Rebel Commando. For some reason I want to take the Rebel Commando and just cut its cost in half and assign those stats to this guy.

I would live it if they had similar stats to the trooper (+1 def though) with the Trooper and Commando SA.

Yeah I agree. Him and the T'surr look like they could be saturday morning cartoon villains. You know what? They should make a show about them. Every week Luke and his Uggie friend (Who's a sassy grouch, 'cause why wouldn't he be?) try to stop them from doing something dastardly. And at the end Luke can say something in a psa format. Something like: "Lying will get you one step closer to being a sith."
Yeah man. That would be sweet.

They would get Cunning +20 for the points spent on Crix, but have no Stealth or Grenades, so no help from the Strike Leader. And then compare to a Jawa Scavenger for 13pts. I'd say 7-8 pts tops, if that. It's not their fault Rieekan got made

Wow, that is way more interesting than what I was thinking. I was just thinking along the lines of Stormtrooper or Raxus Prime trooper stats for 5 points. But being able t oget cunning +20 from Crix would be awesome.

Rebel Soldier will have
HP 40
Attack +11
Damage +30
Defense 23
Double attack, Twin, and Greater Mobile all built in!
And it only costs 18 points! I'm super excited. Also it has Yslmari and grenades 40

You forgot the new ability "God of the Rebellion": at the beginning of each round after initiative is determined, each enemy character must make a save of 20 or he is defeated.

And on that save of 20, they still take 200 damage.....its a lose lose.

Pretty sure that picture came off of an Ebay Auction that also included pictures of the Rodian, BDO, Plo Koon and Saesee Tiin.
