Slightly, until you realize he is a Republic follower. He can get some godly stats. Hell, he will be fun with the instructor. Move up to a melee guy, hit with Momentum, move back with Mobile. You want to risk a momentum boosted dssm attack for your AoO. Some really fun combos.

but against Non-melee, hes dead meat. Blink ...i dont mean to say he'll die like *snap* he's dead, but he could easily be defeated with the current meta (slow-mo cannon, han cannons, boba squads, SS squads [ esp. cad bane yech Bored ]

Same goes for Plo, no deflect. How is Armored Space Suit any different then Resilience? He doesn't even have flight. Not too impressed.

If he had flight then his DSS would be worthless against AoO's would it? I approve of no flight. His biggest issues with absorbing hits is null and void with swap and intelligent movements. And Plo is awesome because he can make tooled out soldier squads, crits and disintegrations reroll, thus negating most low attackers and frustrating Boba, BH fans to the max.

No, it's not. It's just a name that allows for receiving commander effects. Kinda like 501st isn't really a special effect, just a designator that allows CE's to target it.

It is an ability like Pilot or Wookiee.
Vader will be a lot of fun. Anyone remember if it is non-unique allies or followers.

Vader's CE targets only non-unique 501st characters. If I remember correctly, Captain Rex 501st Commander does not get his CE.

Still, Vader can bring in Rex and the two can be used with IE Thrawn and/or Governor Tarkin for a powerful combo.
