With 23 of these things in a case and limited use for multiples of these in a squad online seller's inventories are glutted with these hunks of plastic. How low do you think the prices of these things will go in the next two months?

They'll get cheap but not soo cheap because the cost to ship them when people do want them is gonna be rough. I figure about a quarter fig is as low as they will go. Oh and a Houjix can work in a bunch of squads a 21 point 90hp bodyguard isn't to shabby at all. It's a Vong shaper/ priests new best friend

This is very subjective. I have already had a problem because I am creating 6 Dejarik sets (for birthday/christmas presents). I think none of the uncommons will drop below .80 or so.

nevertheless, since you didn't say which one you were talking about, lets look at the Mantellian Savrip and Kintan strider.

They are commons, the least useful in the minis game, and (like you said) there are a bantha poodo ton of them in each case. I could argue that they will reach .15 and put that as my answer (If you were looking for an average cost of all 8, i wouldn't put it under the $1 mark, which isn't on your list)

The UC's might stay around 1.50, especially the ones that will be fun to run in swarms. Look over the abilities again. Factor in tarpals. I will have some fun with those ones.

I'm doing something like this, too. I need 1 set form me plus an extra of a couple I can see using from time to time.

Then, I already created 2 complete sets for two friends (one as a general gift, and another as a birthday present).

If I can think of anyone else who might like a set, I'd do it for them, too.

From a minis perspective, I doubt they'll hold their value. But, it will be interesting to see if they are worth anything to the larger SW market once folks find out about them (I'd say there is at least a chance they will be).

I figure the commons will drop to around .25 each. I've already got a box full of them. I think I've got at least 10 of each. But I will say that my 4 year old daughter loves playing with them.

The idea of giving sets of them as gifts is excellent. I wish I had grabbed more of them at our release tournament yesterday.

Throw together a set of creatures, some dice, print out a game board and rule set... yeah, I'm gonna do that. ThumpUp

Edit: duh, only need 1 of each

Cool thing is there is a working rule set and a nice dice rule set that work well together too.

The Houjix and Kintan Strider are that price at CoolStuffInc. The UC Dejariks are at $.99.

Someone needs to put out Poster Map of the game board... then we can use the minis rules to play :)

Sounds fun.

I made a game board (not perfect, but usable) here: http://www.smithohio.com/dejarik/
and at the bottom of the page you can download the images with gridlines (14x14) for a small sized battle using the Dejariks and regular minis rules. I would suggest starting adjacent to the edge instead of four squares in for a little bit of breathing room to begin though.
