I am actively seeking your input on gamers. If you want certain characters, special abilities or force powers now is the time to give it. This is basically your last chance before we finalize a list of 60 minis. So please give us your input.

Also there is another thread. This thread is asking for your input on adding custom maps to the restricted list. June 1st there will be 4 custom maps added to the restricted list. If you have an opinion I am seeking it now.

Dean,

I've mentioned this before elsewhere, but I really want to see more options at the 1-4 point cost level, especially for door control, CE propagation, and activation control. Every squad shouldn't have to use ugnaughts and mice as filler.

In 60 pieces, 2 or 3 such pieces should fit. I'm not too concerned about what pieces they are exactly. Here are a few suggestions, but the design team is probably more creative than I am and can come up with their own ideas that reach the same goal:

4-point cost non-melee versions of Uggie Demo and Mouse Droid. (Squib Demolitionist and Human Courier?)

2-point cost emplacement that does not block movement and does nothing but override adjacent doors (Door Control Panel?)

3 or 4-point "mini-Mas" that only extends the CE of one adjacent commander (Communications Technician?)

Other than that, something to make combined fire worth using, and to make swarm squads more playable.

Specific Characters: I think Darth Zannah, Lord Kaan, and Ben Skywalker are long overdue.

Special Abilities/Force Powers: I'm surprised we still have no Force Pull ability. Also, I think more pieces with a melee attack and a nonmelee attack would be great. And how about an ability to jam a door?

I would love to see something like this... I think it would really add an amazing dimension to the game.

That's a real nice custom Ysalamiri, like the pic too! Tamed thing is kind of strange, only because I don't remember them ever being hostile, not even the wild ones.

Yes, a YVH droid would be the Cats Meow!
That Ysalimiri card is awesome BTW.
I agree with one of the posters above, we need to make Combined fire more playable to enhance shooter swarm squads (rebel troopers, storm troopers etc.)

Since they are wild I didn't think they should benefit from CEs. But, I didn't want to give them savage under "normal" conditions. So, I made up tamed so they never benefit from CEs, but are not savage and therefore do not have to rush an enemy at least under certain circumstances. Anyway, just a thought.

BTW, the image is actually something I edited from an old WEG book.

It looks great, but I think its cost is way too low.

Thanks for the feedback. So as not to hijack this thread, here is a link to the custom with my explanation. This is my first one and I welcome comments (especially re: cost). Take a look at why I did what I did and let me know if you think it needs any adjustments. Thanks!

That's a great potential figure. And it could be easily made too! Just take Vorskirs and paint them tan.

I had been batting around two customs in my head for a while now, and I think they'd make decent v-set minis:

Quote:
Luke Skywalker (V-set version of Luke, Rebel)

Faction: Rebel
Cost: 18
HP: 60
Def: 18
Attk: +9
Damage: 20

Unique
Double Attack
Sniper
Impulsive Shot
Impulsive Advance

FP: 3
Use the Force!

Quote:

Malakili, Rancor Keeper

Faction: Fringe
Cost: 12
HP: 40
Def: 14
Attack: +7
Damage: 10

Unique
Rapport (Costs 1 less when with Jabba)
Rapport (Savage characters cost 1 less)
Melee Attack
Mighty Swing
Beastmaster (Allied Savage characters may end their turn adjacent to this character instead of an enemy)

Commander Effect
Non-unique savage followers within 6 squares gain +2 defense.

Is there a way for me to get a hold of the template for creating customs? Like a scan of a blank card with the font and everything? I'd love to get in on this. I have some truly great ideas, for example: More Pilot followers for Jag Fel to run with. Anyone think they can lend a hand?
