i suddenly wondered today had obi-wan and or yoda been in the temple during knightfall would it have went different. what do you guys think?

I don't think Sidious would have executed Order 66 had they been there, since he's a master manipulator. Yoda being on Kashyyyk and Obi-Wan being on Utapau were carefully planned.

Considering Obi-Wan was able to best Anakin on Mustafar (admittedly, he was pretty pissed off at that point, probably made him careless), Obi-Wan and Yoda would have easily been able to take Anakin. That said, havng all those Clone Troopers thrown into the mix might've presented problems, but they probably could have figured a way around that. I have a feeling that it would have ended differently.
However, Sidious would never have knowingly sent Anakin to his death, as it would've been pointless. He's much smarter than that.

That's what I was just thinking, all the Jedi in the temple could have taken the clones while Obi and Yoda took Ani.Heck, one or the other could have taken Ani while the other fought alongside Even Piell, Jocasta Nu, Cin Drallig and the hundreds of other jedi and beat down the clones.

That is assuming Yoda and Obi didn't go with Mace to arrest Palps of course.

Heh, if Yoda and Obi-wan were in the temple, Vader would have died, and a lot more clones would have, but...the outcome would be the same
There were only 1,000 jedi in the order at the time of Knightfall
And if the 200some sent to Geonosis was all that were present in the temple pre-war, only 150 or so would have been in the temple at that time
In the novelization, Bail Describes it is battalions of clones
A battalion is something like 3,204 troops and a commander
And several implies 3 or more
The jedi were royally screwed
Outnumbered by like 10 to one
And you saw in the film how the 501st was taking them out without Vader's aide
But that's my opinion, though I have numbers to back it up
