Sion generally isn't thought of as a good piece. He may be nigh impossible to kill with FR1 and Eternal Hatred, but thats a 69 pt piece that doesn't pull his weight in offense. Zuckuss seems to be your only other expensive piece, and he's more tech than firepower. It doesn't do terribly much good to glue your opponent to a bad spot if you don't have the shooters to take advantage of it. Dash doesn't quite cut it because of his low attack and your mediocre activation count.

See I have had good luck with Sion, in one match Sion was my powerhouse piece with Sidious Holo and I had enough force to run in a room which they had control of the door over and die 4 times and come back and kill every jedi on the board. But then again I dont think Eternal Hatred should be able to be blocked.

Well, Sion isn't too good, but the idea is for Zuckuss to glue people, and for Sion to beat them down whilst being the tank he is, plus Zuckuss can get good hits. Dash may not be the best shooter, but with Force Points, and heal, he can be annoying. Keldors are always nasty. i wouldn't call 10 activations mediocre, it's fair.

Sion can be alright, but if you run into someone with enough firepower/defence you can find yourself dying every round while you can barely hit back. Those FPs won't last forever.

I would probably drop two of the Kel Dors and the Rodian Trader for Jarael and some filler, especially Mouse Droids. Jarael can be quite frustratingly hard to kill with Renewal, and her shockstaff combos nicely with Dash. A few Mice will make it easier for you to keep Sid-o-gram safe for longer, which means for FPs for Sion which means more uses of Eternal Hatred.

decent build, but ultimately i dont see sion as viable, with force defense and the chance of failing the save combined with the low damage output im just not a believer

the first tourney i go to, DurgeDude faces me first match, uses sion/Sidious squad.
rolls for eternal hatred, gets a 4
my point: you can easily miss the save for sion, and after that, your squad goes down the drain
