Seems like a good idea to have a thread for suggestions for fixes or improvements to Vassal.
This is a great idea, Bryan! Thanks for starting this.
I've bookmarked this thread and will try to remember to check it from time to time, but it would be really helpful if you all would help me.
Therefore, if you post a suggestion here, please send me a quick BlooMail, letting me know that you've made a suggestion. That'll notify me so that I actually see your suggestion.
I'll do my best to try to implement any suggestion, as long as it...
(a) is possible for someone like me who does not have a Ph.D in computer programming
(b) won't destroy other features in the mod, and
(c) would be helpful for people who play the game on Vassal
Also, when making your suggestion, please feel free to offer some ideas (if you have any) of how it might be implemented. I've already been able to add some of these suggestions because of the brilliant ideas shared by some players in a conversation.

(They both have the Range 6 Ring currently but have Repulse 5)
Yes! I've now added a "Force Repulse area" command to EVERY mini in the game that has a Force Repulse X ability. You access it by r-clicking on the mini and then selecting it from the popup menu, or else highlighting the mini and pressing CTRL-SHIFT-R. (This is different from the CTRL-A command, which shows the Range 6 ring for all characters.)

I'd love to do this! It's probably the feature that I've most wanted to add for the longest time, but have not been able to. And so, alas, this falls under (a) in my list above. I will continue to keep an eye out for new features in the Vassal Engine that may allow for this in the future.
Please keep the suggestions coming! I've added the Force Repulse feature to the mod (as well as a Mount feature for Master Thon and the YV Scout on Swoop Analog). When I release the next update to the Vassal mod (likely January, when V-Set 27a is released), everyone will have access to these new features. Until then, you can eagerly anticipate the bliss that will overtake you when the update is ready.
