Sorry, mid-life crisis "fog brain/post COVID-19 brain" Confused ;

"Lightsaber Assault" can only be activated, immediately before rolling the D20, which means the character activating this Force power would have to be adjacent to it's target, when activating?

"Force 1, replaces attacks: Make 2 attacks" - i believe replaces attacks means that you can move up to your speed, like a regular attack, and then spend the force point to make two attacks

So the Force point is spent at the end of the characters move?

So, I'm asking in regards to Force Powers and Special Abilities, that counter "LA", such as "Force Defense", "Force Absorb", "Ysalmiri", etc.
