Mando (3pts) defeats Urbanshmi (1pt) : (362-213)

I won map roll so we played on Korriban. Laura set up on the left side.

Highlights: I used Ezra to snipe the Demolitionist and so some early damage on Talia. Maul and Savage were like a wrecking ball approaching gambit. They threw their lightsaber at Ezra, Kanan, Luke and Celeste and did some ealy damage there but missed on one attack so that i got cloaked for the rest of the round. Once Maul and Savage arrived in gambit, they took out Kanan and did some repulsing with their teamwork. Luke did a lot of damage to Ezra and Sabine finished off Ezra and did 40 dmg to Laura's Sabine, while Luke rolled amazing at his save to avoid grenade damage. Ahsoka was constantly picked on by the Nightsister Hunters. She got bludgeoned by one of them early on and activated her. Latter Ahsoka finally got to take a turn and did some damage to Talzin. After that the other Nightsister also Bludgeoned Ahsoka and activated her again. Celeste Morne was my mvp and did a lot of damage vs Talzin and Maul and Savage and turned a Killik into a Rakghoul. That Rakghoul almost turned one of the Nightsister Hunters into a Rakghoul and in an attemptvto start a Rakghoul infestation. Luke used Lightsaber Protection a lot to reduce damage from Maul and Savage and the Nightsister Hunters. Laura's Ezra did an amazing move early on in round 2 to Force Domninate a Nightsister Hunter to deal 60 dmg to my Sabine, who had to play hide and go seek for a while and took away my advantage of Traps. I did roll pretty well on inits all game but poorly on some attacks, especially with Ezra who loved to roll low numbers. He did use False Transmission on Savage and Maul to allow Artoo to get past them and deal some damage to Talia.

Overall, a fun game and Laura has a very inventive and fun squad! Maul and Savage were a pain to deal with and their Unstoppable SA made it so that Kanan had no defense vs their onslaught. I outactivated Laura at the start of the game and my door control cut off half of her squad from the action in round 1, so i was able to attack early with Kanan and Ezra in round 1 and 2. Force Meditation on Atris came in very handy at taking away the attack +4 boost from Maul and Savage and Mother Talzin's canon shot. Good game and well done on Laura getting the 1pt! it was closer than it looked at the end. Ahsoka was near death and Celeste was my only main damage dealer left. GG!

Spryguy1981 (3) defeats Lightsaber (1) 386-325 on Dark Academy

Round 1 was positioning for each of us. I set up my shooters where they could start killing things when he got into gambit. Dr. E damaged Leia for the +10

Round 2 Chewie takes offense at all of the tricks Cognus has and ferociously charges at her to try and smack her. Leia in her worry about her friends accidentally went the wrong direction so that she couldn't signal Chewie to be careful. Cognus and Tulak, affronted by Chewie's rage team up to blow the wookiee up. In raw fury Kyle shoots at Tulak and hits him with a critical hit. Tulak surprised by this fails to defend against this attack. Seeing the momentum, Kyle shoots him 3 more times and Tulak just can't make the saves he needs. Darth Sion brings the pain and puts some damage on Luke. Juno decides to transport the apprentice towards the battlefront and he fries Tulak and Sion. Han, seeing the scary looking Sith shoots frantically at him. He hits his attacks and Yoda uses his mastery of the force to Defense Sion's attempt to resurrect himself.

Round 3 The other Sith charge in angrily and begin hitting things. Kyle still miffed about Chewie shoots more people and deals damage to Traya who has a slightly better defensive stance than Tulak did so she manages to remain alive. Luke slides in to try and deal some damage and he gets Cognus almost dead. In retaliation he is killed by the Assassin who had revealed himself. Cognus then rushes away from the combat front and Leia in her grief at the loss of her brother charges Cognus and rolls a critical hit to kill the woman who took him away. Jan dies here too to add to Kyle's grief.

Round 4 Traya in her Sith rage destroys Yoda but not before Yoda uses his tricks once more to stop Nihilus from zapping his friends and damaging her back. Kyle who still has no good way of processing his grief shoots at Traya and kills her. He then manages to critically wound Bandon whom Han finishes off and Dr. E decides he wants to practice his illegal surgery and takes down the Assassin. Juno and the apprentice are killed here after the apprentice hurts the assassin.

Round 5 Nihilus takes down 3P0 who has stopped being a diplomat and then Kyle still in grief runs forward and shoots Nihilus for yet more damage. Leia moves into the room with Kyle and Han moves up to an angle on Nihilus but he sadly cannot shoot. Out of force points and out of friends the Nexus and the Holocron dissolve into nothingness.

Round 6 Kyle takes the initiative and kills Nihilus and jolts him to add insult to injury. Nihilus in his last act blows up an ugnaught and hurts Leia and Kyle.

This was a tight game and a real slug fest. Kyle was hands down the MVP as he just kept hitting and hitting. I think he only missed 1 attack and probably did close to 600pts of damage including 3 crits. He was a beast. With such an open gambit area where you have to move into the center to engage he had a lot of freedom to shoot, so did Han. Yoda's timely force defenses helped a lot too. Was a great game and I enjoyed getting to know Lightsaber. Good luck the rest of the way mate.

I win map roll, so we play on mine. He chooses the right side, and sets up in the middle area. I set-up my team on the left middle area. He steals the Talon move 6 CE after init each rnd and assigns all the crazy CE and SA granting all types of nastiness to Tsalok & Tsavong Lah .

Rnd 1: We advance towards gambit, he going to the door in the middle, and me going towards the door in the middle on my side. NoffyD caught a golden lucky break, as he had moved Mezhan Kwaad up to try and get his Neural Mapping mini up to position to be able to touch Revan, the next Rnd. I moved my uggie up to open the door ( to the middle gambit room ) ( he had moved up 6 after init ), which led to hime being able to reach the door, then Embo moved 16 squares from the middle room starting area, to reach gambit. Then Noffy moved 2 more acts, then his guardian angel saved Mezhan, when the slicer moved to be able to see the door on the other side of the gambit room, and he opened it and surprise, there was Mezhan, with her elegant white cape flowing in the wind, as Morrigan charged in to blast her, only to hit on the first blast, and roll a 1 on the twin . I got gambit. he didn't.

Rnd 2: Noffy wins init, and moves Mezhan with the stolen CE, out of harms way, backwards and around the corner to safety. Then he moves one of his other Vong to safety, for his first act of the rnd. Then with my acts, my first one was for Montross to send some missles towards the other side of the right door at gambit where Noffy had 4 Vong all bunched up, for a tasty missle launching. Tsalok, Revan, Khalee, all took damage and Dooje ( died ). Then the slicer locks the door ( peek-a-boo ). The rest of the rnd, Noffy positions his guys to be able to run up into the gambit room, as they wait for his uggie and firejelly mini to get in range to blow the door next rnd. I get gambit, he does not.


Rnd 3 : He wins init again. His uggie blows the door. Then I move some fodder, and he runs Revan into the gambit room and advances all the way towards the other side of the room, but he hides safely in the upper left area, away from any shooting angles. More spinning of his commanders in the back, and he moved up Denua and Khalee Lah adjacent to Revan. Montross destroyed his uggie ( uggie abuse ). Then Morrigan charged up into the gambit room to get a beat on Denua and blasted the Jedi hunter hitting for 30 on the first shot, critting on the 2nd for fitty dmg, for a total of 80 dmg ( ouch time ). I get gambit, he does not.


Rnd 4: I finally win init! I move my uggie with Talon away from the door, and he stolen CE's Denua to try and get away, but Morrigan doesn't care, and she blasts Denua to the Grey Havens, and then she retreats 6 out of the room and agiles 2 additional, ending her move with the door to the gambit room closing . He moves Commander Tsalok up adjacent to Revan and Khalee, and that wakes Mira up to finally put her stamp on the game. She waits as her teammate uggie runs up adjacent to the door to the gambit room. Then Mira moves 6 to lob her nasty rigged detonator grenades, to do 40 on Tsalok, Revan, and Khalee, then she agiles back. Revan, tired of Mira's guerilla warfare tactics, runs up to her to slash her for 40! Khalee moves 6 to exact more uggie abuse and it's destroyed. Montross moves 6 to launch missles at Tsalok and Khalee, and each take limited missle dmg, after crab armor. Noffy moves Tsavong up 12 and hides him in the room adjacent to the gambit room. Din says, " Time to bring someone in cold, but extra crispy on the outside", and he BBQ"s Khalee, who becomes lunch, as he only had 10 HP left ( take that crab armor ), and Tsalok takes 10, bringing him to 50 left. Embo charges in to blast Tsalok, and he takes 50 after crab armor, and he somehow comes back to life, avoiding defeat! NoffyD gets gambit, I do not.


Rnd 5: Noffy wins init, thanks to his +4 from Tsalok being adjacent and Tsavong's +2! Ouch time! Din says, I want to live another day, and he Talon's away from Tsalok, taking 60 dmg, from a lot of ridiculous buffs . Then with 2 crazy Vong weapon strikes, a full hit point Montross takes 120 dmg from Tsalok and dies a most horrible death . Embo blasts Tsalok, who finally goes down, missing 1 of his AD saves. Mira blasts Revan in the face, but he laughs maniacally, and breathes on her with his lightsaber, and she dies. Morrigan got the hots for Revan, and charged 12 to base Revan, and he takes 60, bringing him to 40 hp. This was her screw-up demise, as Mezhan who had been hiding around the corner the entire game, moves up to open the door to the room where Tsavong had been hiding, and he finally joined the party and he crushed Morrigan with 2 staff strikes, and she went down. Boba greater mobiled into action, seeing the temptation of Revan at only 40, blasts him, only for Revan to laugh at him for even thinking he could hit, then Boba thought better, and pointed his blaster at a more sure bet to get paid on, and with 2 blasts, destroys the Subaltern. Din then wants to chalk up another kill, and moves 6 to base the Consul, and it goes down in a blaze of glory, as time ends. NoffyD gets gambit, and I do not, but I squeek out the victory with a 175 to 163 final score.



A cat and mouse game at the start, with positioning, and Noffy being extremely cautious, after the laser pinpoint blasting at the beginning ( except for Morrigans 1 ) and the flying missles of death from Montross. The missles damaging 3 of his guys and taking out Dooje, really hurt in rnd 2, and Morrigan single handily killing Denua, was key as well. Tsalok was a beast when he finally was able to get into combat, as he destroyed Montross, but his large base made his approach very difficult, as he gets extremely slowed by difficult terrain and low objects, and he is easily seen, from many angles on a map, especially on Anchorhead. After a few missteps, Noffy was able to Manuever well to make it a close game, and he had me sweating when I miscalculated him being able to open the door to the gambit room for Tsavong, who roared in and obliterated Morrigan.
