Wrong Vader. Darth Vader, Legacy of the Force has Pilot, so he can gain Grenades via Odd Ball.

But Volvagia pointed out the Oddball being used (when having Palpatine, Sith Lord to get him out) and Vader having the "pilot" ability (to be taken advantage of using oddball), it's funny to see Vader using grenades in the game for the first time. Have you ever played against a Vader throwing grenades?? To be honest, I wouldn't have expect that.. so kudos for originality Volv.

In a deleted scene in Return of the Jedi, Palpatine and Vader discuss what to do with Luke prior to meeting him.
Palpatine: "Vader? What is that you have behind your back?"
Vader: "It's nothing, my Master."
Palpatine: "It's obviously something or it woudn't be in your hand."
Vader: "I was handed this by one of your loyal clones. It is a grenade."
Palpatine: "You dare bring that into my presence? What if it goes off?"
Vader: "Master, I assure you nothing will happen. See? It's not armed. You have to press this button to activate it."
Vader inadvertantly presses the button.
Vader: "Oops. Er, My Master! I have a gift for you."
Palpatine: "Um.... toss it over the side. It won't cause any harm. We can blame your son for it. If we convert him to the Dark Side, we won't even have to bill him for it. What's the worst that can happen?"
Vader drops the grenade over the side unbeknownst to him, but beknownst to us, that the Millenium Falcon and the Rebels are flying through the superstructure.

Although absurd, it does have one factor that most Vader's don't: A ranged ability not related for force points. No Force Defensing grenades. :)
