So it is after Initiative has been determined.

I guess that there is some Reinforcement stealing going on?

Wow, this thread has really jogged my memory about that CRAZY game LOL ! Putting all 10 factions together on a single squad certainly required me to think outside the box...or maybe that's INSIDE the box. Of course, I couldn't have done it without help from my opponents.

Three players? Illegal Surprise move? They all fit somewhere but I think this is a job for Superman. Or Mystery Inc. Or Flying Arrow who knows the answer

Apologies - you're correct. I put the wrong person down for the Surprise Move. It is now corrected.

What really amazes me about this game is how well my squad worked to take advantage of the Affinity in my opponents' squads.

Solution:

UrbanShmi, urbanjedi, and Darth Jim are playing a 3 player game on the Geonosis Arena Pit. (That's already been revealed in the narrative with the hints.)

Here are the 3 squads.

UrbanShmi:
--Rainbow of Fruit Colors Super-Challenge--
50 Voxyn Queen
46 Yuuzhan Vong Fire Breather
43 Kreia
31 Tyber Zann
21 Marn Hierogryph
5 Zonoma Sekot Scout

(196pts. 6 activations)

Darth Jim:
--Rainbow of Fruit Colors Super-Challenge Opponent 1--
61 Ulic Qel-Droma
54 Jaster Mereel
24 Mandalorian Tactician
23 Elite Gunner
16 Grand Admiral Rulf Yage
5 Sith Guard
5 Stormtrooper

(188pts. 7 activations)

urbanjedi:
--Rainbow of Fruit Colors Super-Challenge Opponent 2--
70 Luke Skywalker and Yoda
55 Kazdan Paratus
45 Garm Bel Iblis
30 Chewbacca, Rebel Hero

Preferred Reinforcements:
(Garm Bel Iblis) 20 SpecForce Marine
(Garm Bel Iblis) 6 Rogue Squadron Rookie
(Garm Bel Iblis) 4 Mon Calamari Tech Specialist

Preferred Reserves:
(Kazdan Paratus) 30 Destroyer Droid

(200pts. 7 activations)

UrbanShmi has Vong and Fringe pieces in the base squad.

She uses Tyber Zann and Marn's Bribery options to steal from two different opponents. She takes one of Jaster Mereel's Mandalorians and takes a New Republic and Rebel piece from Garm Bel Iblis.

She wins initiative but does not go first. urbanjedi gets his droid reserves with Kazdan Paratus and takes a Separatist Battle Droid (among other things). Before the first turn, Kazdan Paratus uses Surprise move and moves toward UrbanShmi's squad.

Darth Jim goes first and has a Mandalorian Tactician who has line of sight to an enemy (since they're on Geonosis Arena Pit), so he activates three characters. All three target Kreia, who is out front with no cover. All three roll a 1. So an Imperial Stormtrooper, Sith Guard, and Old Republic Elite Gunner all join UrbanShmi's squad through Betrayal.

urbanjedi goes next and activates the Battle Droid, who also rolls a 1 versus Kreia. That puts a Separatist on UrbanShmi's squad. Finally, Kazdan Paratus uses a Force Point to move 8 and get adjacent to Kreia. (This is possible because they are playing on Geonosis Arena Pit and he already used Surprise Move.) He also rolls a 1 and so a Republic piece also joins UrbanShmi's squad through Betrayal.

Darth Jim and ubranjedi's turns take place while Darth Jim is describing the earlier squads.

Next is UrbanShmi's turn, and before she even takes a turn she already has all of the factions in her squad.

(The 5 1's in a row is the 'unbelievable' part.)

This sounds like a "Murder, She Wrote" story.

That was a fun read. BlooMilk

I'll throw this into the mix - it's not about getting every faction into a squad, just a mix of affinity and pseudo-affinity that gets rather convoluted with who is getting what from whom. Sith squad by build, Mando squad in game.

7-ish years ago - Lost to my son running a Czulkang Lah Glare squad which I unfortunately did not record in the squad builder. RollEyes
