Wouldn't jar jar teamed with Yoda's failed saves re-rolls be a formidable squad? Was any squad with them as the core a top tier squad? Or does it play out to just be gimmicky and fun?

Dunno how competitive it would be but you can also Light Tutor him and then haunt him. FR1/Mettle/Free reroll.

That gets RIDICULOUSLY fun at times in high point games, can't say I've ever seen it worked effectively in 200. I would say a fairly confident 'no' to it being competitive, but it is fairly formidable (albeit quite luck/roll-reliant, and there are several matchups that would flat out kill it).

Its more of a fun squad. It just doesn't have damage out put even if you add rex to the squad.
I did win a regional with yodabuck and jar jar just a different yoda lol

Two years ago I used CS Yoda and JarJar in Tile Wars...GREAT FUN! There were a few matches where JarJar almost single-handedly won me the game! He's extra effective in that format because it's hard for opponents to get far enough away to escape his Draw Fire, and it's so easy to keep him within 6 of at least 1 enemy piece so you've always got a good target for the Bombad-ness.
