The Han "Solo in Carbonite" piece reads:
"During setup, choose another character whose name contains Han Solo..."
Would this include the 136pt. "Han Solo and Chewbacca" unit? It does not seem like that would be intended, but I wanted to know for certain.
Thanks in advance!

If you were playing in a format that allowed the Epics, then yes, this would be totally acceptable.

If you were playing a format that required exactly one epic, how would it work? Would carbonite count, or would you need a second?

Probably up to the person running the tournament. If you want a ruling from Dave I'm sure he would need the exact wording of the rules for that tournament.

I would tend to think that Carbonite proxies Hanchewy until freed, as the Han character is chosen during setup, its (reduced) cost is factored into the build total, and finally, it is defeated if all other allies are defeated before it enters play. So it is effectively part of your squad for victory conditions. shrug
But yeah, whether the combo is allowed to begin with would be the TO's call, same as with any other specific restrictions stated ahead of time.
