I just opened a booster of Master of the Force, and I got a Pl Koon, Jedi Master. The only odd thing about this is that behind his back foot, on the side of the base, there's a number stamped in white. "00051"
I'm assuming this is a manufacturing defect, but I've never seen anything like this on other minis. Has anyone ever experienced this?

All the rares are stamped like that. Same thing with the Dark Times rares. It's a factory sorting stamp that was never removed, just another indicator that Wizards no longer cared about the game.

Ah, I'm looking at my other rares, and I see that now. Yeah, I would've preferred to hear "You have a special 1st printing", but the numbers do make it very visible that Wizards stopped caring.

I know I've long since missed the boat on this, but I'm really dissatisfied with the Masters of the Force set as a whole. I got some really good rares, but listing so many large minis as commons and uncommons means that I'm overloaded with dorky pieces I'll never end up using. Curse the 40 piece sets!

If you have a full set of Dejariks, they'd make a good gift for any Star Wars fan, not just Star Wars Minis players. Among the commons are the two pieces that are the most easily recognized from the movie. The third is Houjix, arguably the most useful of the pieces in game terms. You can put those 3 together in the stocking of any 4-8 year old.

I've always wondered what the numbers meant. I have heard a lot of explanations but haven't heard about the sorting stamp that was never removed. Does that mean all sets have had these numbers but had them removed before bagging? Maybe if we compile our numbers we can figure it out some sort of rhyme or reason My DT and MotF minis are: Dark Times (R) Bossk Trandoshan Hunter 92851 (Booster) Dengar Hired Killer 92851 (eBay) Major Maximilian Veers 92851 (Booster) Masters of the Force (R) Kit Fisto Jedi Master 00051 (Booster) Lando Calrissian Rebel Leader 00051 (Booster) Masters of the Force (VR) Arden Lyn 95351 (eBay) Ganner Rhysode 00051 (Booster) Everything was consistent till I got the Arden Lyn off eBay. Why is she different? All labeled "booster" were bought from the same store.

Yeah, I am considering buying another case of MOTF, but I really have no use for another case worth of Dejarik beasts. They just take up SO much space!!

Yeah, I think it would be more beneficial to get your rares off of Ebay or some other website, if you've already gotten a case of MOTF. I ordered a case of MOTF, along with two boosters, and I'm now the proud owner of five Kintan Striders.

It isn't just the VRs I'm interested in though. I want more Red Hand Troopers, Rebel Soldiers, Chiss Soldiers, and all those non unique OR jedi. I could have an army of Toydarians!! I just don't want more Dejarik.

I miss the days of going into my local comic book store and picking up the commons/uncommons I need (or having other local players to trade with). Do you also play the RPG?
