Oooh! EJA! I have 4 of those. Thanks for reminding me so I didn't have to cut up my only Consular. =)

Cut the lower LS off and then paint him gray. You now have your Gray Jedi!

So I just made my Cilghal, yay! Mon Cal Knight head, Jedi Healer body (it seemed appropriate, lol), and EJA lightsaber. Pics soon!

I was thinking of taking the two yellow sabers from one of my NR Exceptional Jedi Apprentices, and putting them in place of the red sabers on two Emperor's Hands from DT. Then I would change their color motif from black to earth tones to make two Gray Jedi.

Would be my first customs, any thoughts on best paint to use?

That sounds like a pretty cool idea for a Gray Jedi! I'm not the best person to ask about paint, as I use it very rarely on my customs (I don't have a very steady hand, and have even less patience! lol). I use my fiancee's leftover acrylic paints from when she was in studio art, but not sure how good they are in general for customizing. You might want to ask Markedman247 or some of the other prolific artists here on BlooMilk.

So I decided to make a Ben Skywalker. My idea was to take a Rebel Commando Pathfinder and stick a blue lightsaber in his off-hand, then paint his shirt and pants black, and give him a head swap. But I'm not liking the results. Anyone got any suggestions? Here's a pic; I haven't done the head swap yet.

(Sorry the photo is dark, but you get the general idea of what the paint job is)

What don't you like about it? Is it the vest? I'd suggest painting the vest a dark Gray or maybe even night camo (varying shades of gray). I haven't attempted the camo thing myself so I don't know how hard it is, but I think it would look cool. Anyway, I think it looks pretty good. What head are you going to use?

That's exactly what I was thinking about the vest: a dark gray. I think I'll do that. For the head, I'm probably gonna use either Luke LotLS or Cade Padawan. I don't have extras of either but they're cheap enough to replace.
