We're well underway with regionals, and I'm wondering how the newmas on the restricted list are working out.
What are you seeing alot of, what maps seem to be doing the best, and which ones are being avoided?
I have seen alot of Theed Maps, Smugglers Base Maps, and Rhen Var Maps.
I've seen a few Jabbas Palace and Spynet Hq Maps
I've seen no one using Anchorhead or Mos Eisely residential are maps.
Seems like the Smugglers base is the most popular though.

Tons of Smugglers Base and Theed, a handful of Spynet and Peaceful City, haven't seen any of the other ones being used.
I just checked back on the MD Regional Results thread, and we had 4 Theed, 3 Smuggler's Base, 2 Rhen Var, 1 Jabba's Palace, 1 Peaceful City.

I love using Spynet. A rather popular one for the MI crowd is Barbie's Princess Playland (sorry Peaceful City, that is your name now).
Most of what I've been seeing since the new list is Rhen Var, Smuggler's Base, and Peaceful City. Theed doesn't seem as popular among my opponents, only seen it twice, I believe.

The maps I can remember seeing used at the Kentucky regional were Destroyed Base (WotC, a lot of 'em) and Theed. There may have been others. The Theed players finished 4th and 5th and both of us were running OR with Bastila, Mira, Seer and Senators. That was the first time I had played real games on it, and it worked quite well for that build. Our local group doesn't meet anymore, so no feedback there.

I see a lot of Rhen Var Citadel, Ruined Base, Chancellor's Starship/Imperial Base, and Rancor Pit. There aren't a lot of copies of Smugglers Base/Theed around our playgroup, which might be why I don't see them much.

After running a regional on spynet (5-0 in Swiss on it). I can say that is the most fun map I've played on this year.

Which one is Spynet?
I am not sure of all the names. I have played and enjoyed Barbie's Princess Playland, Smuggler's Base and Theed.
It is really nice having a higher variety and them being official as well.
I love the maps.

Matt, we discussed this at length on the SHNN last night. So make sure when you have time to have a listen. Episode 73 I believe.

Of your maps: Rhen var, spynet, theed, caves/mining complex and the sith temple get a lot of play. Oh and the last tournament we used the new map pack. Very successful, players loved the rookies map especially. Despite more people using the starport one.

Bothan Spynet, Pastel City, and Smuggler's Base have been very popular with our group because they are super friendly to movement breakers but don't offer very many long lines of sight. Rhen Var is also fun because it it funnels everyone into the middle to brawl.
Peaceful City and Smuggler's Base are probably my personal favorites out of all the maps, along with Ruined Base.

We had one Smugglers Base at the Northwest Regional today.
The Strongholds and Fortresses Pack was included in prize support.
I haven't seen Anchorhead since moving here; I think a reprint could be worthwhile.

Used Spynet this weekend, it was awesome. Played an epic game, will put up a report on it sometime.
I love the new maps, they make such a difference to keeping the game fresh - keep them coming guys!

London ON regional was smugglers base, Theed, jabba's palace, rancor pit and ruined base. Most of the London local players didnt have the Armored Cartoraphers maps, so I made sure to hook them up at the end of the day.
