Been a long time since I've played at all, but got a game in last weekend and tried this out: Darth Maul, COTS 53 General Grevous, JH 42 B3 Ultra Battle Droid 32 Octuparra Droid 31 General Whorm Loathsom 20 Battle Droid on Stap 16 Mouse Droid 3 Geonosian Drone 3
Obviously to maximize the usage of the twin attack, by stuffing in as many triple and quadruple attackers as possible. It didn't go so well, but I still think it has promise.
The biggest problem was that Octuparra and Battle Droid on Stap got wiped before even getting an attack off, so they were pretty much useless. So I figured I'd cut them, and try to get 1 of 2 things accomplished: *another good shooter *a bodyguard type, someone to take the brunt of some attacks while I get my others in position
One idea I have is Jensaari Defender + maybe Toydarian Soldier.
Another is Boba Fett (rebel storm). I'm open to other ideas too, maybe piecing together 2 or 3 medium cost figs. Ideas?

Greivous isnt worth it. Id consider swapping stuff to fit in Durge JH and/or Tyrannus (probably just Durge since both would mean pretty much your whole squad and you already have a beatstick).

I'd try to work Sora Bulq in there, or a Series 2 Destroyer Droid. They're both pretty awesome and are even better with twin.

Durge is always a good figure to try and put in there too. I guess with only so many points to go around there is only so much you can do. I like the Maul with the quadruple attack, but for the point cost Sora might be a good replacement. I've tried to use Maul with Whorm on many occasions to take adv of the 8 attacks. He usually gets shot up though. This is definitely a fun squad to run though!

Sora does not work well with Whorm. For the same cost you can get 2x IG-86 (with the addition of a Geo Overseer, you get 8 attacks).

The IGs will die quicker (no GG to boost them lol).

I like Whorm because he can hook a lot of activations up with his CE, but he is no where near as good as GGDAC. I personally. Like Boba Merc with Whorm, intuition double twins with accurate. A lot of bang for 57 points. But that reduces your acts. IG-86s are a great option along with the Geo Overseer. I think in a Whorm squad you need one beatstick only. Me? I always go with the Cloaked Genoharadan assassin, he can get a twin with that P blade and costs only 21 points.

Adjacent to a living enemy with Cunning, the GenoHarradan would be at +12 Attack for 50 Damage each attack (20 base, +20 Poison Blade, +10 Cunning)

Well this game has always slanted towards shooters over melee, so replacing a beat with more shooters just changes the nature of the squad. Sora Bulq is much more survivable, though you'll likely not stick your IGs out to get shot at, and is also a good melee interference piece for the Seps, and even better with Twin Djem So.

Unfortunately don't have Durge JH yet or Sora Bulq (or any of the V-set stuff).
But I played a diff version of this squad last weekend with some success. I swapped out Octuparra and Droid on STAP for a Jensaari Defender, and I liked that. Jensaari was able to protect for at least a little while. Still, I was never able to get Grevous or Maul in position for more than a single attack (double with twin). I've got to find a way to make better use of them if I'm going to stick with this squad. The B3 has been by far my best piece in terms of damage.
