Sooo, i have lots of minis, and always want more but have only 1 character that I really want Crying. I dont know hardly anything about mandos, but they seem pretty cool stats wise. I got some death watch raiders in a open bo battle and really liked them which is why I bring this up. I only have a select few C/UC and no R/VR aside from boba and the Vset Figs, any suggestions on weather or not I should start collecting them? Are they fun to play? Opinions any one?

Its a whole faction of Boba Fetts, so to me that make it worth it. And they seem to getting their fair share of new characters in the V-set. Plus the 19 mando with cloaked is pretty sweet from the KotOR set, grab some of those and the cheap Taung from DT.

Mandos are my fave faction, but they hurt when it comes down to activations. Mando Scouts as hydro put it are really good in any mando squad, especially with Boba Merc Comm.

Mandos are my favorite also, and while i agree they can be hurting with activations. One fix for that can be lobot. His reinforcements allow you to specialize and add activations

The Basilisks are very fun to play also. Once in a while, I like to bring out these with Mandalore the Ultimate. Activations are a killer thoughScared

I went 3-2 at the Md regional running Mandos. In retrospect, I think I would have done better had I run a Boba-accurate squad rather than the deathshot squad I had, since in my 2 losses I had critical pieces down to 10, 10, 10 and 40 damage but could not put them away.

The pieces I have found the most useful are the Scout (cloaked greater mobile), the Gunsmith (override cunning +20) the captain (grants twin attack) and the Counter-Intelligence Officer. (nerfs anyone with tempo control) The way I play them, I use a lot of mice.

The biggest problem I see playing Mandos right now is that they have no real movement breakers. The closest thing is the basilisk, but they need mice in range to truly be scary and their cost really prevents you from having too much punch in the squad otherwise. A cheaper way to have affinity with Sith other than Ulic would go a long way to solving issues with both factions, although it looks like Sith are getting some help in R&R.

EDIT: At the regional using Jaster Mereel, Lobot and Gha Nacht, no one could out-activate me. That, in conjunction with using the CIO, removed that concern.
