The SA, Droid, says that droids aren't subject to commander effects, but some minis, like Grievous Droid Army Commander has the CE: droid allies gain +4 attack/defense and twin attack.

So what exactly is your question? Droids are not subject to CEs unless a character's specifically mentions that Droids are subject to them (ex: Revan, all the GGs, Whorm, etc). Same goes for Savage characters (ex: Exar Kun)
