The Virtual Sets are only new stats. You need a mini to represent the character, whether it's the recomended mini on the card, another logical one, or a custom.

The Vsets consist of cards only, not minis. You use your existing minis with the new stats on the Vset cards. Each Vset card has a recommended mini, but you can use any mini you want if you don't have the recommended mini. That is, as long as you and your opponent agree to it. Using Luke Skywalker to represent Darth Vader probably wouldn't work, but I use Darth Sidious from Jedi Academy to represent Darth Revan (from the first Vset), for example. Also, keep in mind that there are a couple of rules where the physical figure does make a difference: * Base size. There are small, medium, large, and huge bases. Be sure the mini matches the recommended mini. * Lightsabers. If figure pictured on the card has a lightsaber, the figure you use should have a lightsaber (and vice versa). This matters for abilities like Damage Reduction, where a character with a lightsaber ignores damage reduction. A character has a lightsaber if it has a force power or SA with Lightsaber in its name, or its figure is carrying a lit lightsaber. So be sure your mini matches the recommended mini at least on those two points. Beyond that, as long as you and your opponent (and the tournament organizer if applicable) agree to it, that's all you need.

Bastila Shan from CotF is obviously the recommended mini. Before I got one, I was using a Jedi Crusader mini as her stand-in. Of course, if I used a Jedi Crusader in the squad in addition to Bastila Shan, Jedi Master, then that would have been confusing. In that case I would have chosen a different proxy.

I don't know how many extras they printed up. Anyone who donated to the project got a set. Some free sets were also available, but I don't know how many or if there are still free sets available. If you can't obtain a set of the professionally printed cards, you can download and print the cards out yourself for the price of ink and paper. See this thread for more info on that: http://www.bloomilk.com/Forums/default.aspx?g=posts&t=9867(Note that in addition to R&R, there is also a set of 12 more cards called Battle of Theed, and a set of uber-characters called the Epic set. You can print out all of those at the links in the other thread.)

Destiny of the Force was the first. Bastila Shan, Jedi Master is found in Destiny of the Force, not R&R. You can also print out the Destiny of the Force cards if you can't obtain a set of the professionally printed cards. (I have no idea if any more of those are available.)
